Hello Webkinz Newz readers, it’s Ella McWoof, your official “Webkinz Votes 2014” election reporter!
Tabby Von Meow, whom we’re all familiar with as the dedicated manager of the Employment Office, announced yesterday (Oct. 9) that she’s now running against Daisy Doe in Kinzville’s first-ever mayoral election: “Webkinz Votes 2014″!
In a speech submitted to Webkinz Newz, Tabby declared that her goal is to give everyone in Webkinz World more opportunities to earn KinzCash and that if elected, she’ll permanently reduce the number of hours between jobs at the Employment Office from 8 to 4. She also mentioned, however, that this would result in LESS KinzCash awarded per completed job, saying, “Payouts will be reduced to help our businesses afford this new work, but in the end we will all benefit!”
Tabby says that Kinzville can become even MORE prosperous than it already is, a tempting prospect, under her leadership. But how does her entering the race affect Daisy Doe’s chances for Mayor? In fact, does her announcement mean MORE Kinzville citizens may enter the race? Potential candidates have until October 31st to officially join and announce their campaigns. Anyone is eligible to enter and I will release special reports as this story unfolds.
I asked Daisy to comment on Tabby’s announcement and she replied, “If Kinzville really wants to grow, they don’t need more places to spend their hard-earned KinzCash, they need a leader who’ll focus on their health first. A leader like ME!”
The actual election that will decide who will become the mayor of Kinzville will happen right here on Webkinz Newz from November 28th – 30th. Election results will be announced on Monday, Dec 1st.

With anyone being able to enter, I’m hoping that also means the Little Kinz! I think Nibbles would be a great choice. The race doesn’t seem to be age specific, so I’m hoping a few of the Little Kinz will get into the act – who says a young person couldn’t be a great mayor?

Sorry arzi02, Kinz didn’t mean that Webkinz players could run for mayor, Kinz meant that host, (such as Tabby Von Meow) could run :)
and yeah Mrs.Cowaline would be a great mayor altho what about her teaching job???
BTW i think Daisy Doe is too about herself and her plan to care about the Kinzville residents
A leader has to think of others, not themselves when making decisions :) Daisy Doe isn’t doing that :( She isn’t thinking of Mr.Moo when she takes away his Ice Cream, she Isn’t thinking of the people who like to make recipes when she takes away the sweets in the W-shop, she isn’t thinking of our pets when she takes away the sweets in the W-shop because some of the sweets are our pets favorite foods! Healthy eating is great, in fact It’s SUPER important, but when I say I’m NOT voting for Daisy Doe I’m saying it because I know that Daisy Doe isn’t thinking of our webkinz, Mr.Moo, or most of the Webkinz players :(
I’m not a fan of Daisy Doe, Knowing that what she plans to do is wrong. But I’m not a exactly sure how I feel about reducing the kinzcash. Still, I prefer Tabby Von Meow. I wish there could be a mayor that didn’t have to change everything and be so obsessed with themselves and their own a opinion. Kinzville needs a mayor that doesn’t need to change everything and doesn’t only thing about themselves and their own jobs and interests.

How true like I said in my comment under the newest Podkinz episode, a leader has to things that will help everyone even if they want to do something else☺☻☺ Daisy Doe needs tor elize that instead of starting over, she can just help the more unhelathy treats in the W-shop and Mr.Moo’s Ice healthyer and she dosn’t have to get rid of everything! This is one of the reasons I don’t want Daisy to be mayor, she only does what she thinks will be best for Kinzville, not what really is :( Vote YES for Tabby Von Meow! Honestly, I don’t want to vote for either. I was really hoping Arte Fact or Fred Rover would run for mayor. (I suppose they still could) Tabby’s promise if she wins doesn’t really help me as i usually only come on once a day which would mean i just get less cash. I hope when voting comes around, (assuming they don’t enter,) there is a write in option so i can vote for Arte or Fred :)

i hope Jerry runs because we wouldn’t have to get a new host for anything! i feel it would seem unreal to have the hosts have 2 jobs. even if one is THE MAYOR OF KINZVILLE. i think we need a leader who is not distracted by anything else! i would vote for JERRY THE FROG he has nothing to do but worry about the well-being of the Kinzville residents!!!
Yeah good point animelover7644 :) Jerry Frog could put all his attention and time for Kinzville and he wouldn’t be distracted by anything else like Tabby Von Meow might be, and like Daisy would be if she opens a restaurant :)

I think Jerry could be a good candidate. Although, we haven’t seen him around much, i’m not sure he would get the popularity vote (besides us) that the other competitors might get.
Yeah but he still should try! He dosn’t have anything against anyone and he could focus on hi mayor job because he has no other job! :) :) :)
