Webkinz Votes 2018 Results

BREAKING NEWS: Ella McWoof here with an election update. Well, folks, the votes are all counted and Kinzville has spoken! It’s my honor to introduce your new Mayor of Kinzville – Sophie Stockwell!

Sophie:

Thank you, Ella, and thank you all! I am so honored to have the privilege of becoming mayor to this fabulous town!

Of course, first of all I would like to thank my esteemed opponents. Dr. Quack has done an excellent job as mayor of Kinzville for the past two years, and I know he will continue to do great work until I take over as mayor on January 1st! PJ Collie may have fallen short in the vote count, but she never falls short in her work ethic or fashion sense! And while Dex may not have the power of the mayor’s office behind him, he will always have his star power.

Whether you voted for me or one of my opponents, I just want you to know that I truly appreciate each and every one of you – which is why it seems so fitting that I ran on a platform of offering a player appreciation day each month! I look forward to sharing an eStore gift with every player each month so that you can all get a taste of the fabulous and fun stuff that eStore has to offer.

As mayor I promise to do my best to make you proud - and to make Kinzville and so fab so fun! Thank you and see you on January 1!

I voted for you Sophie, even though I do love Dr. Quack hope he will still promote his tonic and continue to keep Webkinz pets healthy and happy. I hope your new duties as Mayor will not prevent you from bringing to Webkinz World the fun activities of your hobbies like birdwatching and marine biology, which were among the most fun things we did this year, along with the field trips you sponsored. All these great things are more were the reasons I voted for you!! Keep up the great work!!

Congrats to Sophie on becoming the new mayor of Kinzville! I have faith that you will do a great job! I’m really sad though because this means I’ll have to say goodbye to Doc again… I’m really happy for Sophie, I am, and I know she’ll do great. And I’m excited for the player appreciation days, but I’m really really gonna miss Doctor Quack. I still remember reading that article that said he was retiring – I was devastated, but I was so happy when I found out he was running for mayor and was even more happy when he won. Don’t get me wrong, Sophie is amazing, and I am really happy for her, but I’m also really sad that Doc will be leaving again… But hey, maybe he could still stick around for a little bit and still fulfill that plan he had? Something to keep him in the loop, please? But anyway, congrats to the new mayor of Kinzville! And I’m gonna miss you, Doc :)

Congratulations on your win, Sophie! Even though I will miss Dr. Quack, you’re very personable and I think you’ll make a terrific Mayor of Kinzville. I do have a request (already!), however: If your monthly Appreciation Gift includes something that is not sendable/sellable/tradeable, could you please give us the option of refusing it? Otherwise, if we can’t use it, it’ll just end up sitting in our docks.

In all of the years that me and my children and grandchildren have played, only two things have left and/or changed that I truly miss. One was the way we used to take care of our gardens. The other is Dr. Quack and his clinic. I think both taught valuable lessons to the younger ones and we older ones certainly enjoyed them. Maybe Dr. Quack could consider taking back on some of his previous duties in some sort of capacity to help care for our pets and help everyone see the importance of visiting their doctor and how that it isn’t a scary thing at all :)

I miss his clinic too. I loved taking my pets there. Maybe he can reopen the clinic for health check ups and you could get a little bit of family score points for getting your check up.

I remember the gardening, while it was fun, it would get frusturating because of how busy I was, and this was when I was in second grade. Another feature I liked was watching tv, you still can but it’s only in the stadium ready rooms.

      • polkadotpenguin89 says:

        what are stadium ready rooms?

      • bsnd500 says:

What is a stadium ready room? I have so many TVs and am disappointed that I can’t watch them. I thought Sally said they would be fixed along with the other items that the “re-do” (whatever it was called) caused to get messed up. Thanks

When you enter an event at the Webkinz Stadium (not a quick event, a scheduled event), you and your pet are taken to a “ready room” where your pet can prepare for the event. The TV is in the ready room for races.

I agree! The Dr. Quack visits were the best. Hopefully we can one day be able to start taking our pet(s) to Dr. Quack for clinic visits as we used to be able to back in the day. Also, the parties that we used to be able to do and go to other user’s pet homes. Those were the days. When we used to ACTUALLY be able to interact on here.

    • Ailuropoda says:

I miss the Clinic! It was a nice little teaching moment when a pet got sick and had to go to the doctor. And the gardening was much more realistic with weeds and withering.

    • hearer says:

I miss the gardens and his clinic too! I used to play a lot as a kid. As a young adult, I’ve rediscovered it and it’s very strange on how much things have changed. I do hope they bring these two things back as well as working televisions

    • lukki says:

maybe Doc. Quack could do a nutritional show on how to do healthy cooking and eating using farm fresh veggies from your garden!
