Ella here with a special Webkinz Votes 2022 report! It’s time to hear from our third mayoral candidate: Goober! Your favorite scientist is officially running for mayor of Kinzville! Let’s see what he has to say about his campaign:
“Although I have my lab work down to a science, I’m ready for a new role as mayor of Kinzville! I’ve been working hard for many years (go science!), but it’s time to hang up my lab coat and safety goggles and try something new! Well, maybe I’ll keep my goggles close at hand, but I promise to work just as hard as your mayor, as I did in the lab.
At first, I struggled with my campaign, contemplating how I could be the best mayor I could be. Then it hit me. Eureka! I had worked out the formula for fun! New prizes are always a plus, so that is why I, Harold “Goober” Hausenfeffer Jr., promise to release brand new prizes throughout the year, that can only be won by spinning the Wheel of WOW! A new prize will be switched every time the Wheel of WOW is updated, so loyal citizens who play every day will have the best chance to win it!
Friends, please vote for me on November 25th. It’s going to be a blast!”
Michael Webkinz mentioned on a recent episode of Podkinz, that if elected, Goober would be releasing a new room theme. Goober has confirmed that his promise is to release new prizes on the wheel, but the items wouldn’t necessarily be part of a matching room theme. So, it’s unclear what the new prizes will be, but I’m sure Goober’s campaign promise appeals to many players!
Don’t forget to visit Goober every day at the Kinzvillle Park from November 13 – 18. Every day you can collect a gift box from Goober that contains one of three prizes: A campaign hat, sign or plushy.
Make sure you vote for your favorite candidate on November 25th!

Before you hang up your coat Goober, I wonder if can chat with the art teachers and see if you can come up with some great new wrapping papers for the mail packages. I would love to see Halloween, St Patty’s, brown and orange themed wrapping papers. I am sure they would love to help. I look forward to chatting with you in the park.
Sorry Goobs, but I’m a Quacker :)
This has nothing to do with Classic, but I’m not sure exactly where to post about this. When the Week 2 tasks came out today in the Fantastic Fairground Season, my family all compared our progress, and they have a task I don’t. They have “Craft 3 Clay on the Crafting Table”, and therefore have 10 tasks for the week. Mine does not mention the Clay at all, and I only have 9 tasks. That task is worth 30 points. I don’t want to miss out because it’s missing off my list. I logged out, and I even quit the app & reloaded. It still didn’t show up.
I am having the same issue, only my daughter has 11 tasks for week 2 rather than 10. The first 5 tasks are the same as mine. Then the sixth task is to craft 3 pieces of clay on the crafting table, and the ninth task is to craft a clay cup on the crafting table. I have previously purchased and crafted clay cup recipe card from the wish boutique, whereas my daughter has not. I am wondering if maybe this is why it is not showing up on the tasks. Did you also happen to already purchase the clay cup recipe card? Anyways, thank you for pointing this out or I would not have known. Hopefully this draws attention to it and they fix this for us. If not I will send them an email.
that is really strange – do you garden? Do you have dirt in your dock? That is the only ingredient to craft clay, so maybe if there isn’t dirt in your dock to make clay, maybe that task won’t show up? I’m just grasping at straws here . . . . Best Wishes.
I thought this was my own personal glitch! So grateful for this so helpful comment section. I think I have the answer now. I originally had 9 tasks. When I checked the list again later in the day I had the task to craft the 3 pieces of clay. I assumed I had accidentally scrolled past it before or that it had just popped up late. I quickly crafted the clay and assumed I was up to date until I saw all your posts. I do garden and have a lot of soil, so I think that must be a requisite to receiving the task. I had no idea that the 11th task existed. I just checked my dock and crafting tables and I don’t have the recipe or the item. The clay cup recipe card is now for sale. If we buy that, the eleventh task will probably pop up! Grinningreaper: If you don’t have soil, perhaps I can send some to you.
I bought the recipe card, but the challenge hasn’t show up. Maybe it needs more time.
Update: My completed Task 10, crafting three pieces of clay, has now disappeared from my list!! I wonder if that task and Task 11(which I did not receive) are actually intended for Week 3.
Update – about an hour ago, I purchased the clay cup recipe because, after reading all these comments, I realized I did not have the task to craft the cup and thought the purchase might unlock the 11th task. It has NOT shown up so now I’m out 10 wish tokens. Now I find that the task I completed to craft 3 clays has disappeared from the Week 2 list and now I have only 9 tasks in the list. I don’t know if my account retained the points earned from making the clay or if those points disappeared along with the task. What is going on?? Please, can a Ganz staff member comment about these oddities, glitches or whatever you want to call the differences that players have in the week 2 tasks?
I had 363 Soil when I started. I crafted some clay hoping it would trigger it into showing up.
Thanks for bringing this up, as I thought it was just me. Two out of my three Next accounts had “Craft a Clay Cup” as a part of the challenge list for Week 2. Once I made the cup, that requirement disappeared from the challenge list. I have no idea if I got credit for it, as I wasn’t paying close enough attention, until I noticed that that part of the challenge wasn’t even listed on my third account. I also logged out and back in, but that didn’t fix it. Something fishy is going on here, and hopefully the Ganz team can get it working properly on all accounts for everyone.
While we are commenting on Next season challenges, I will also throw in my two cents about the timing of the more difficult tasks. When the challenge requires us to sell a rare gem to Amanda Panda, or get an A+ on the pop quiz (3 times!), please give us those challenges as early in the season as possible so more players will have the chance to complete it successfully. I missed out on the points last season for the perfect pop quiz that came in week 4, as I missed at least one question in every single quiz after that. And I know a lot of people who never got the points for selling the rare gem, because they just couldn’t find one. If the challenge requires us to be lucky, please give us as much time as possible to succeed.
Yeah, I know. I managed to get the 3 A+ before it ended last time, but my mom didn’t. I have a screenshot of a question I got one time where it’s not even a question, it’s a statement, and the 4 possible answers don’t even have anything to do with the statement. It says “Woolly rhinoceroses was around in the pleistocene era!” and the 4 answers are 1. Fish 2. Snake 3. Insect 4. Rodent I picked Rodent, but according the them, the answer was Snake. ???
I had the same thing on one of my accounts I earned the points for Craft Clay Cup on Crafting Table. I checked my other accounts this task was not listed to do, I then went back to the account that I had already completed it on and it was no longer available on the list of task to do.
I have the same issue with 2 of my 5 accounts not having the crafting task. Not complaining, but I am curious as to why.
I hope Arte runs for Mayor!!!!!
GOOOO SCIENCE!!!!!
That does not sound appealing to me. One of the benefits of WOW is that you’re able to get things from old events/prize pools.
Theoretically this is true but they rarely have anything good on there. New things would be very welcome by many players.
I find that my WOW spins usually land on the same item day after day, so I don’t even expect to get Arte’s new item if he were to win.
I would be in favor of this if I had more information. And please, no clothing items. I have got way too many Martian costumes through my four accounts.
Oo that’s a good question I assumed it would just be room items since originally in the podcast Goober’s platform was going to be a room theme (but looks like it’s been updated to be miscellaneous items) and those don’t have clothes, but would be nice to know for sure if it’s just room items
This sounds VERY good to me :)
Dang, Goober looks really promising!! I can’t wait to see what PJ has to offer, though.
Goober has my vote. Love ya, Goobs.
