Ella here with a special Webkinz Votes 2022 report! It’s time to hear from our third mayoral candidate: Goober! Your favorite scientist is officially running for mayor of Kinzville! Let’s see what he has to say about his campaign:
“Although I have my lab work down to a science, I’m ready for a new role as mayor of Kinzville! I’ve been working hard for many years (go science!), but it’s time to hang up my lab coat and safety goggles and try something new! Well, maybe I’ll keep my goggles close at hand, but I promise to work just as hard as your mayor, as I did in the lab.
At first, I struggled with my campaign, contemplating how I could be the best mayor I could be. Then it hit me. Eureka! I had worked out the formula for fun! New prizes are always a plus, so that is why I, Harold “Goober” Hausenfeffer Jr., promise to release brand new prizes throughout the year, that can only be won by spinning the Wheel of WOW! A new prize will be switched every time the Wheel of WOW is updated, so loyal citizens who play every day will have the best chance to win it!
Friends, please vote for me on November 25th. It’s going to be a blast!”
Michael Webkinz mentioned on a recent episode of Podkinz, that if elected, Goober would be releasing a new room theme. Goober has confirmed that his promise is to release new prizes on the wheel, but the items wouldn’t necessarily be part of a matching room theme. So, it’s unclear what the new prizes will be, but I’m sure Goober’s campaign promise appeals to many players!
Don’t forget to visit Goober every day at the Kinzvillle Park from November 13 – 18. Every day you can collect a gift box from Goober that contains one of three prizes: A campaign hat, sign or plushy.
Make sure you vote for your favorite candidate on November 25th!

I really like what you have to offer with your campaign Goober. I LOVE getting NEW things if you are elected to be mayor this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. Goober’s campaign promise seems quite interesting, but I would have liked to know a bit more about what we’re possibly getting. It sounds pretty good though. just hoping that I am able to get it on the wheel if he gets picked.

Those “new” prize silhouettes look suspiciously like some of the prizes for WKN monthly and moneyz….I hope that isn’t the case, not even a recoloring :/
I’m pretty sure they’re all just random existing items since they haven’t made the new items yet/won’t create them until goober is voted mayor. I figure they’re making entirely new items (at least for the most part) since goobers initial platform was adding a new room theme (and themes don’t really have many repeat items) to the wheel and now it’s been updated to be new items (maybe they switched away from theme items if they came up with some good ideas for new items that don’t really fit in the same theme)

Hi kakenta1! Welcome to Webkinz Next! To coo to your baby, click on the crib and there should be a bunch of buttons. Click the one with two hearts and wait for you to finish cooing. After that, you should have the daily season task done! :)
Yes, be sure to wait until it is finished cooing or you won’t get the points. Someone in our home learned that the hard way. He was so upset he never got his points until he learned you just have to let baby do all its cooing!

I would like to add, don’t be in a rush to grow your baby pet up. When asked, not knowing better I did. Leaving the pet a baby, allows you to keep getting points for the challenges (until you have enough sparks to do as you want.) You do get challenges that require you to ask your kid but from my experience, you might always want a baby. Glad you found your way to Next. I like playing but I am having difficulty juggling both worlds. Unless you play Next each day, it takes a long time to build the pet’s heart back up. Happy playing. You know who I would vote for? For someone who would make the W-shop Sell like Webkinz Next. It takes forever to add one item at a time and usually the more I sell the slower it goes. So, someone please make selling so we can just add the item and then add the number of that item we would like to sell. They’d get my vote for sure!

I know, right? Sometimes I have 100′s of the same vegetable and it takes forever to sell. My garden is huge! I am thankful we don’t have to weed and water and nothing dies like it did in the olden days. Lol. Let’s update this shop and make it a little easier to do business.
You know if you load the stuff you want to sell, and then click sell button bunch of times it keeps selling the stuff from your dock.

Cant be done. They wanted to make Classic better but was impossible. So say thanks to Next because thats where they made the awesome improvements.
Just curious, why don’t you like Classic? I think it’s still a wonderful game, especially for one that’s free to play. The Ganz team does a great job with it and it’s really nice of them to still update the game and keep it interesting for Classic fans instead of pouring all of their time and money into Next, in my opinion.
I still really enjoy Classic. I play on Next and enjoy it too, but I do wish they could make a few updates to Classic to make it just a tad bit easier on some things – selling items for one. Every time I convince myself I’m not going to get Deluxe I still do because I have played so long.
