In my previous Newz story, I showed you the new pet meters and introduced the Pet Care Heart.
Now, in my EXCLUSIVE SCOOP, here’s more information straight from the TOP SECRET documents!
The Pet Care Heart is a new and fun way to interact with your pet! Each day, just by taking care of your pet, you can fill their heart! The more you play and take care of them, the faster you’ll fill it!
Feeding, bathing, grooming, exercising, and playing with your pets all around Webkinz World will help you to fill up their hearts.
While playing with your pets, their Pet Care Hearts will ONLY go up. But each day after midnight, all Pet Care hearts will go down by 25%.
The important thing to know about the Pet Care Heart is that unlike their Happiness, Hunger and Energy meters, a full or empty Pet Care Heart does NOT affect your pet in ANY way. So even if you have too many pets to keep ALL of their Pet Care Hearts filled all of the time, they’ll be just fine.
So then, why fill the Pet Care heart at all? Because filling up Pet Care hearts will earn you more KinzCash and Family Score!
What is Family Score? It’s the biggest and best improvement to Webkinz World yet! Stay tuned to my column on Tuesday, June 16th and I’ll reveal MORE about the exciting secret project, Webkinz X!
Hello tttvvv! Why are you dreading the changes?! I don’t think they are that bad! I hope you will stay, webkinz world needs members! (And I love friends!) If you really don’t like them, don’t play the part of webkinz x! Just play the normal part of webkinz! Anyway, I like this! it looks fun! I mean, webkinz world can’t stay the same forever. that would get boring! I am very eXcited about this!
Cool, but can you show us some other things now? I thought this was gonna be another new look at something new being added to webkinz. But was just more info on the heart. :/
So glad to hear my other pets will not be affected by that meter, but change is always hard to adapt to, but I am looking forward to seeing how it goes. I could not quit playing with my pets, love them all and webkinz!!
Yikes! That is…complex. Does this mean that I have to play with each pet in a day?

This may be impossible for those of us who have over 100 pets. I can’t play with all of them! I’m hoping that the spa at vacation island will still help to keep all my pets happy! Please don’t take away that capability Ganz – it’s the only way I can keep my pet meters full!
Hey everyone! I have noticed that most people have taken Webkinz X very negatively. We all love webkinz the way it is right? However…..We shouldn’t complain until we KNOW what it is and the extent of it. I was a little upset at first too, but now it’s starting to sound pretty cool! Ganz, I like how if you have too many pets you don’t have to worry about filling ALL the hearts. I would be in serious trouble with all my pets! LOL! Anyway, what i’m getting at is that we all tend to react when we don’t get what we want, but webkinz isn’t going to stay the same forever, that’s something we just have to accept. If they make a change and we don’t like it, as the payers we have a right to tell them so, but please, don’t complain yet! Let’s give Ganz a chance to show us what it is first! Well said kbk100isi! As humans we are creatures of habit, we like our routines, and are afraid of changes that are uncertain, and upset that balance. But, whether we like it or not, we ourselves undergo changes everyday: we grow physically, we learn, we gain experience, and we mature. We may not always welcome or wish for change, but sometimes it is those uncertain changes, and sometimes tragic and unwanted circumstances that help us to grow and become a better person, a stronger person, and enable us to help some one else along in this life who is facing the same challenging circumstances. While we may be a bit wary about the changes the creative team at Ganz has implemented, we need to take the time to try them out and learn how to navigate through them and learn how to use them before we throw in the towel and give up. Hang in there friends, it might surprise us: there might be something we learn or enjoy, and can even help a friend figure out, while we navigate this together as a community of Webkinz players! ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫

Ganz has never let us down yet! I do trust them to make good decisions, and I think that the care heart is a pretty cool idea! However, it might be better received if each pet didn’t have a care heart; rather, it would be a big family care heart. That way, it wouldn’t bother perfectionists who like all of their meters to be full and we could still really enjoy all of the cool advances that Ganz wants to make with the care heart. What do you guys think?
Looks interesting, but I feel like this “family score” is going to become the next “My Page” no one is quite going to use it.
