In my previous Newz story, I showed you the new pet meters and introduced the Pet Care Heart.
Now, in my EXCLUSIVE SCOOP, here’s more information straight from the TOP SECRET documents!
The Pet Care Heart is a new and fun way to interact with your pet! Each day, just by taking care of your pet, you can fill their heart! The more you play and take care of them, the faster you’ll fill it!
Feeding, bathing, grooming, exercising, and playing with your pets all around Webkinz World will help you to fill up their hearts.
While playing with your pets, their Pet Care Hearts will ONLY go up. But each day after midnight, all Pet Care hearts will go down by 25%.
The important thing to know about the Pet Care Heart is that unlike their Happiness, Hunger and Energy meters, a full or empty Pet Care Heart does NOT affect your pet in ANY way. So even if you have too many pets to keep ALL of their Pet Care Hearts filled all of the time, they’ll be just fine.
So then, why fill the Pet Care heart at all? Because filling up Pet Care hearts will earn you more KinzCash and Family Score!
What is Family Score? It’s the biggest and best improvement to Webkinz World yet! Stay tuned to my column on Tuesday, June 16th and I’ll reveal MORE about the exciting secret project, Webkinz X!
Am I the only person who doesn’t understand this? WHERE in the article does it say where you can find the pet x logo on your account and when does it start? I can’t find it anywhere. A little help please

I have more than 165 Webkinz, how on Earth am I supposed to keep them all filled??? I see this wonderful pastime ending soon, for me, and hopefully I have misunderstood the effort that will be needed to continue. =(
You can just leave some pets sleeping and the only penalty for ignoring requests is a minor happiness loss…something that is easily fixed by feeding your pet or playing an arcade game.
Will we ever be able to play completely on tablets. I don’t have access to a computer everyday but I do have access to my tablet. Any other longtime players want tablet to have all the features from computer?
WHERE IS THIS METER AND WHEN
we have too many problems today with webkinz, so working on Z, better would be for all of us, users, to fix our today’s problems
This is a business thing and it’s really quite smart. They make changes to make the game appeal more to the modern era, and are trying to make it more fun and wholesome to kids.
Please calm down everyone and give it a try. This is not going to be the end of the world or the World of Webkinz as we know it. This is a separate meter that doesn’t affect the health, sleep, etc. It is a new “daily” as it were, that will allow you to earn EXTRA Kinz Cash and prizes. This is not a reflection on your ability to care for your pets. Think of it as a BONUS for being such a great pet owner. Let’s just give it a chance and not lash out at the creative team at Ganz. They work hard to make this a great and safe place for us all to hang out. They have also done some pretty spectacular things for us just in the last couple of months. Is this how we repay them for the generous and creative surprises they have given to us. I understand everyone is nervous and edgy about changes, but can’t we address our fears in a more positive way, such as asking questions to clarify our understanding of what will happen, so we can process the changes, and prepare ourselves for them by learning to navigate through them. The staff at Ganz is not trying to harm us or alienate us, they are honestly trying to make it more interesting and more fun. Sometimes ideas don’t work out as intended and many of those have been fazed out, in the meantime, don’t be afraid to try it out and work with 3 or 4 pets at a time to fill the meter and see how much Kinz Cash and prizes you earn. Keep encouraging each other to do their best. You might surprise yourself and find out it isn’t so bad after all, and you might even have fun! Hang in there, guys, it will work out! ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫
I understand the feeling that Webkinz is great the way it is and doesn’t need any changing. That said, I was scared whenever the KinzStyle Outlet was created and it turned out to be awesome! Webkinz X will hopefully turn out like that.
I think everyone who says that Webkinz X is going to ruin Webkinz and they’re goanna quit is REALLY OVERREACTING. I don’t want to be mean. I just think that if you’ve been on Webkinz this long, you should wait to see the changes and then judge Webkinz X.
I wouldn’t consider it to be overreacting. Over the years, it’s become more and more demanding in that the game requires that you visit on a nearly daily basis in order to obtain gifts, items, ect. instead of earning things at your own pace. And now on top of that, we have to visit daily to take care of our virtual pets. It’s not ideal for people like me who have a job and college to deal with.
