We recently asked the Webkinz Newz community to vote for the next room theme they would like added to the W-Shop… and the results are in! The Hotel room theme earned the most votes and will be released in the W-Shop on July 21st!
Do you have any ideas for items you would like to see included in this new theme? Please leave your suggestions below!
Make sure you check Webkinz Newz often from now until this theme is being released on July 21st. We will be showing off concept drawings of each item and sneak peeking the final designs. We’ll also be looking for name suggestions for each item, which you can leave in the comments section below each post.

Well I stayed at a ton of hotels while I was traveling so here are some of my plans… A Microwave,Two Twin Beds Or a bunk bed, A hotel manager outfit, A hotel dog, A carpet in it, Some desks, A tv, An Elevator that lets you go into another room that is part of your house, Fountain, Pool, Hotel cat, And a hotel breakfast table that lets you click on it and you get a free meal, And wall paper and flooring, Counter and a coffe dispenser that lets you have a free cup of coffe each day. and a couch for the lobby and some chairs. And a bunny hotel pet, And a radio. those are some of my ideas and my sister’s ideas. I wil put in more later.
Canada+U.S.A+India= Hotel
Well…..someone has been thinking about this for a while!!! I like a lot of the ideas! Even if I don’t want the whole theme, I could use some of these elements in other rooms. I REALLY like the idea of the coffee dispenser. A hotel mascot pet is a GREAT idea.
Carpeted flooring would be awesome! We don’t have any carpeted flooring, just rugs. But I think there should be a hard flooring as well for the hotel theme, like for the lobby.
I am with you…..they all sound wonderful!! especially the elevator etc…..
Thanks! snugsandfriends,Cherrycheesecake, and megamom12! In my house in webkinz I have an elevator there and it DINGS! Whenever you click on it. And some of those other things you metioned. WARNING DO NOT DRINK COFFE FROM THE HOTEL IT IS DISTCUSTINGLY GROSS!
Plus+ How about an little thing that the people use to clean rooms when they take the thingie up. And their costume that they wear and that your pet can wear. And a little card that can be hanged on the door like you are opening it. I know that you are thinking about how all those numbers will work but it is one of my ideas.
This is not to copy anyone who said this but… I slept on a couch that can turn into a bed and I want it in the hotel theme. Mini fridge and a Sign that says KinzVille Hotel Welcome! and Breakfast room -> Floor number 5 <- or something like that. And a Big piano that plays 5 Songs.
I called it! The hotel theme was a really popular choice, and even though I voted for the Outdoor Living theme, I’m still going to be interested to see what new items we’ll be seeing! -ilovemlp22
Oh and for a item, I would suggest a four poster bed with blue and white striped blankets would be nice, and maybe a hotel buffet table, with lots of food like a continental breakfast! Hope these ideas help! -ilovemlp22
MLP as for My Little Pony?
I voted for the outdoor living as well, but I’ am interested to see what will be in the w-shop. I moved a bit so I stayed in lots of hotels, here is an idea, a sofa that turns into a bed!

Yay! Finally the Hotel Theme gets to win! I have some ideas for it that have probably been said already but I’ll say them anyways: a front desk, vending machines, glass front doors that slide open, luggage cart, a cafe area, an elevator, room key holder, hotel room doors… If I come up with any others, I’ll post them. :D
I would like to see a laundry room and a church room inside and outside for both of these.
I think it would be cool if the room had a four-post bed, a nightstand with an old fashioned lamp, and a window with a balcony or garden view!! It may or may not be very plausible, but it would be cool :)
awesome ideas! Really like the idea of an old lamp that can be placed on the night stand, I find there isn’t much choice for light that works with my room designs so I’m really hoping that’s in there. And a mini fridge! there’s gotta be a mini fridge for this theme.
I voted for the hotel theme last time but this time everyone in my family fell in love with that owl chair! That said, I think a lobby with an old fashioned check in desk with a sign in book and a bell sounds great. Comfy seating and maybe a fireplace would be good. My daughter-in-law thinks something art deco would be cool and I could see that with 1920′s streamlined cruise ship styling. The hotel restaurant could have a wallpaper with big picture windows.
Yeah, I REALLY want that owl chair. That needs to be a Thing. I’d even get eStore points to get that chair, ganz…just saying.
Yay – Finally a theme I voted for won!! For the lobby, I’d love to see: A front desk, a sweeping staircase, a large chandelier, a free-standing glass-enclosed fireplace with comfy chairs and handy coffee tables placed around it, well-lit walls and marble flooring. For the rooms, I’d love to see: A bed, side tables with lamps, a TV with a console table beneath it and decorative scented candles or vase of fresh flowers on top, some cozy foot rugs, chairs and some sort of wall art. Off to the side and separated by a glass brick wall (along the lines of the “Ice Block Wall” from the Winter Wonderland Theme) the bathroom, complete with tub, sink, toilet and towel stand. :)
I would like to see a Bellman’s Cart, an Elevator (and when you click it it opens), a Check in Counter, maybe a waterfall or some fancy focal point for the room, some hotels offer breakfast – so maybe breakfast nook furniture. So many ideas for this theme! Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with :)
I can think of a couple.. Maybe a luggage cart or a check in desk! Maybe for wallpaper it can have blue and white stripes! I didn’t vote for this theme ,but I still like it alot!
