Hailey and Elwin here with some exciting news! For the next few weeks, we’re going to be featuring special rooms on Webkinz Newz. What makes the rooms special? The fact that we’re decorating them with RARE items!
Have you ever wanted a Rare item of your own? There are LOTS of different ways to get one. Here’s how:
1.You can trade for Rare items in the Trading Room at the Clubhouse.
2.You can find Rare items in the Curio Shop – but you never know when, so you have to check often (Arte’s shelves are restocked hourly).
3.Deluxe members get a whole section to themselves at the Curio Shop, so they have an even higher chance to see a Rare item!
4.You can get Rare items from certain Challenges (keep an eye on the Newz – we’re going to give you an insider’s look at exactly which Challenges give you those Rare items!).
One more thing – rumor has it that the Egyptian theme is going to be retired, so if you happen to see any of it before June 20, pick it up!
has anyone seen Plumpy in the trading rooms yet? i went in all day different rooms and never saw her. this says they are posting when she will be there, anyone know, anyone traded with her yet?

i used to have one , which was the princess wardrobe, it was HUGE, but i gave it 2 a friend, because they gave me WZ jeans and the fairy falls tiara. But the good thing is that i’ m deluxe ; )
i got about 5 rares! including a egyption dresser!!!!! yay
I always end up selling my rares… it’s probably not a good idea, but some are worth so much and the money is quite tempting. The fact that they’re retiring this theme makes me kind of sad. I was starting to make a room with them but now these rares won’t be for sale anymore! Getting them in the Trading Room is a possibility of course, but once they retire their value will increase. :( Hopefully Arte will have some new rare themes soon, to compensate for the retirement of this amazing room theme.
Isn’t the Egyptian theme a code prize? you know the ones that comes with the trading cards. what happens if you punch in a retired item will you still get it or not? Just ordered a case.
