Make Your Own Smoothie Moves Game!

Roberta here with another fun craft! This time, it’s making our very own version of the Smoothie Moves game! This is a great game you can play at a party – or the next time your friends come to visit.   What you need: Six plastic or paper cups, large piece of round cardboard (big enough to fit all the cups), craft glue, masking tape, marker, small rubber balls or pompoms   What you do: On each plastic cup, stick a piece of masking tape. On each piece of masking tape, write a number. This is what the cup is worth. Decorate the cardboard tray any way you like. Glue each cup to the round cardboard tray. When the glue is dry, practice tossing the ball or pompoms into the cups. Give each friend 3 balls or pompoms. Each ball or pompom that gets into a cup counts for the number of points written on the cup. Tally up each person’s points after their three turns. The person with the most points wins!

Play Pinky’s Big Adventure!

Pinky is a pig on a mission: to eat as much junk food as he can while not being stung by persistent bees! Pinky can avoid being in the bees’ path, or simply don his helmet and run head-first into the bees to knock them out. He just can’t let the bees touch him if he’s not wearing the helmet! To pass a level, Pinky must eat all the junk food in the maze.  Pinky earns points for eating junk food and knocking bees out when wearing his helmet. Remember: if Pinky eats a lot of junk food at once, he’ll slow down and look a bit chubby. To speed up, he can chow down on some healthy veggies…but eating vegetables means that more junk food will appear on the screen! Good luck helping Pinky!

Amazing Operation Gumball!

Operation Gumball is a fantastically challenging game in the Arcade. It’s a code-breaking, gumball rolling good time! To play this game, you have to guess the order and the sequence of the number needed to crack the code. Just watch the time on the clock and make sure you guess the sequence before the gumballs fill up the machine!   When you’re cracking the code, the gumballs that roll out tell you about whether the code you guessed is right or not. This is what the colors tell you:   You know you’ve got a correct number in a correct spot if you see a green gumball. You know you’ve got a correct number in an incorrect spot if you see a red gumball. You know none of the numbers you guessed are correct at all if you see no gumballs.   The trophy is totally awesome – and you have a chance to win it at any point during the game (but you can only ever win one).     Good luck with those gumballs!

Interview with Chef Sophia

Today’s interview will be with Chef Sophia Soufflé, Webkinz World’s foremost dessert artisan! Ella McWoof: Chef Soufflé, thank you for joining us! Sophia Soufflé: Please, call me Sophia. EM: OK! Sophia, it’s commonly known that you had to work very hard to get to where you are today. Can you tell me a bit about that? SS: You’re right, Ella. I did have to work hard. I worked all through chef school. While other kids got to go home after a hard day at school, I went to the local restaurant and waited tables and did dishes. Over time, the head chef saw how passionate I was about food, and he let me start helping out in the kitchen. Pretty soon, I was a sous-chef, which is the chef who assists the head chef. EM: You must have been very proud to become the sous-chef at such a young age. SS: I was. I worked hard for it, and I was proud of myself. Not as proud as my parents were, I’m sure. They told everyone they knew about what their daughter was doing. They’d come to eat at the restaurant every time they were in town. EM: While … Read more
