Hailey and Elwin Make Over Fluffington’s Yard
No! No! No! This is all wrong! I cannot believe what Hailey and Elwin did to my yard! I mean, I know that I already let them loose in my living room and games room. I tried to cope with the fact that all my golden furniture and purple accessories had been removed to be replaced with red and green (how common!) and that my games room had been turned into some sort of giant white checkerboard. But this yard is all wrong! Don’t Hailey and Elwin understand that I represent Kinzville’s gentry? I am from one of Kinzville’s oldest and most established families. I mean, if Great Aunt Meriwether sees a snowman, what is she going to think? That I’ve been rolling around in the snow in my expensive clothing? What about those ridiculous ice sculptures of the fairies and this poofy red gazebo. (Why can’t they get that I like GOLD?) I asked Hailey and Elwin what they meant by all this whimsy and they said that they were trying to create a fun area where the children of Kinzville can play when they come … Read more
Fluffington’s Living Room gets a Makeover
Elwin checking in! So Hailey and I were offered a major project for the holidays! Fluffington St. Bernard has asked us to oversee the decorating of his home for the big party he is throwing for his whole family on Christmas day. This is really huge for us. If we can impress Fluffington, he might introduce us to some of his rich, bigwig friends and then who knows how many fabulous design jobs we could get? The first two rooms that we did were the Games Room (you might have seen that) and his living room. He has a pretty swanky pad here, marble flooring, and rich wooden accents. And a glorious combination of rich colors like deep purples and dazzling gold. Fluffington is anything but understated when it comes to decorating so Hailey and I both know that whatever we do, it has got to be over the top. This is just the kind of challenge we love! The first thing we did when we went to work on Fluffington’s Christmas themed living room was to remove some of the statuary and sculptures. We wanted a pretty clean slate to add our … Read more
Meriwether St. Bernard is Unimpressed
Why, I NEVER! I have no idea what put my nephew, Fluffington, in such a foul mood today, but I must say, I certainly was not going to remain there to be spoken to like that! I stopped by Fluffington’s for a quick visit to see how his plans for his big party were coming along. I was worried he had taken on a bit much. After all, he doesn’t have the same flair for entertaining that I have always had. Why, my parties have always been the talk of Kinzville. But then what does one expect from someone with my class and good taste? A focal point of MY parties has always been a display of my extensive tea cup collection. I just know that the citizens of Kinzville love the opportunity to admire my collection as much as I love showing them off. But I digress. When I arrived at Fluffington’s home, he seemed to be stumbling around the front yard, mumbling to himself. Personally, I found the decorations quite striking, but when I complimented him on them – why, he flew off the handle! He said that … Read more
Roberta’s Homemade Holidays: Headband
Hey friends! Today I’m working hard to finish two headbands for my cousins. I’m hoping they like them, because they definitely took me awhile to make! Want to make some yourself? Check out the instructions! What you need: Plastic headband, ribbon, craft glue, felt flower or brooch  What you do: Glue one end of the ribbon to one side of the headband. When the glue is dry, wrap the headband entirely. Tuck the end of the ribbon out of the way and glue it in place. Let the glue dry. Glue on the flower or pin on the brooch.
Alex’s Secret Santa
Hey everyone. I have a question for you: what would you do if you had a friend that you really, really liked and you wanted to get her something special for Christmas, but you didn’t want her to know that you really, really liked her? Someone I know is having that exact problem. He’s trying to figure out a nice (but not too over-the-top) present to get for a girl that he thinks is really awesome. My friend is super shy, so he isn’t sure how to tell the girl he likes how special he thinks she is. OK fine. So the friend is me. It’s me. And I’m trying to figure out what to get for Molly. I think she’s so wonderful –she’s so smart and funny and pretty. I thought maybe I’d get her a hair clip, or some kind of pen…but those ideas sound pretty boring, right? Should I write her a poem? Maybe get her a box of chocolates? Forget the whole thing and just give her a candy cane? I need help, friends. What should I do?
Nibbles’ Bad News
It’s me, Nibbles and I am NOT having a good day! I just got home from school and heard Plumpy in the kitchen on the phone with someone. When I got closer I could tell that she was talking to our cousin, Ruby. I love Ruby but unfortunately we don’t get to see her all that often because she lives pretty far away. Usually at Christmas Ruby and her family come to Kinzville for the holidays, but that is not what it sounded like just now. I’m pretty sure that I heard Plumpy say that it would be really nice for us to have a change this year and see their part of Webkinz World. Oh no, it would not! That would NOT be nice at all! Don’t get me wrong. I would really like to visit Ruby’s house. Plumpy and I have talked about taking a trip there sometime. But not at Christmas! At Christmas I want to be at home in Kinzville with all my friends! And how is Santakinz supposed to know where to leave my presents if I’m not at home? This is really not good. And I … Read more
Salley & Stoogles – Ex-BFFS?
You probably all know about the HUGE fight Stoogles and I are having. He’s just being so unreasonable! I want to see my dad for Christmas, and he’s just thinking about himself. Stoogles is obviously really mad, because he won’t eat lunch with me, or talk to me or even LOOK at me. Our teacher, Miss Daisy, had him pass papers around in the classroom. He handed two papers to Sparky and told HIM to give one to me! How rude is that? I’m so tired of Stoogles being mean…maybe this is a sign that we’re just not meant to be BFFs anymore.
Roberta’s Homemade Holidays: One Tired Bunny
Know what takes a bit longer than I thought it would? Making homemade gifts. So far, I’ve managed to do the following: Personalized bookmark for my grandpa. Tote bag for my cousin Emmy. And that’s it! Can you believe it?! Two gifts. I’m SO far behind. I’ve got a TON more to do.  I stayed up until 11:00 last night working on the tote bag. My mom found me at my desk, and I thought she was going to yell at me. Instead, she just said ‘go to bed, honey. You’re working too hard.’ Little does she know I still have her gift (and a million others) to make! Do you think I can get it all done in time?!

Cowabelle’s Christmas List
Whew! What a LONG day of walking around. I’m going to need at least three cookies and two glasses of milk to recover! What have I been up to? Glad you asked! I went back to the W Shop today and found a few – OK, a LOT – more things for my list. It’s getting hard to remember everything I want to add to my list between the time I walk from the W Shop back to my house! My friends haven’t started their lists yet – which is too bad, because the sooner you write it, the sooner you can mail it. The sooner you mail it, the sooner SantaKinz gets it. And the sooner THAT happens, the sooner you get presents, presents, PRESENTS!  I LOVE Christmas and I cannot wait until Christmas morning!
Gotta Have Friends!
Our technical gurus have been making some terrific updates to the Friends List in Webkinz World – and they’ve added a thing or two to make it easier to find friends and receive messages. Be sure to visit Webkinz World on Wednesday, December 7 and see all of the great new features!
It Snowed!
Last night, you should’ve seen the storm! It must have snowed six inches! Stoogles called me and asked if I wanted to go sledding with him today. Of course I do! Now, I do have a math test tomorrow, but I’m pretty sure I know the material. I looked it over for about half an hour yesterday, so that ought to do it. There’s something with algebra…letters and numbers and stuff like that. How hard can it be? I got a C on my last math test, so I’m sure I can get at least that on this one. I know Alex has been studying for the past three days – but how much fun is that? NONE AT ALL. So I’m going to go and have me a little break. Then MAYBE I’ll look at the book when I get home tonight. But for now – SLEDDING!
Roberta’s Homemade Holidays: Tote Bag
OK, so the bookmark is almost done (just a few more finishing touches) and I thought of another gift to make – this one is going to be for my cousin Emmy. Emmy is an artist, so she’s always lugging around sketchbooks and pencils and stuff. I’ve decided to make her a tote bag. Here’s how!  What you need: Canvas tote bag, needle, thread, felt or fabric scraps, pencil, scissors What you do: Draw a design on the bag. You can make it as complicated or as simple as you like. Arrange your fabric scraps in the design; cut them as needed. Sew the fabric scraps onto the bag. If you like, add the recipient’s name in permanent marker. Â
Hailey and Elwin Decorate Fluffington’s Games Room!
Hey, readers! Hailey here! So Elwin and I had a lot of fun decorating Fluffington’s living room but I’m not sure how much Fluffington liked it. I mean, he SEEMED to like it, but he was a little grumpy when he first came in. He kept asking where his gold furniture was. And purple – he kept asking us didn’t we know that purple was the color of royalty. Um, can you say ‘delusional’? Anyway… now we’re onto the Games Room. Since there didn’t seem to be any gold or purple, we thought we might be able to have a little more fun with this one.        Fluffington’s games room is pretty cool. There is just about every game you can imagine and plenty of space to play. He’s also got some yummy snack areas set up. There’s even a sandwich maker. We want to maintain all of the fun and leave lots of space for games, while still capturing the holiday spirit. I sure hope Fluffington likes the results of this one!             Ho! Ho! Ho! This room is still packed with … Read more
