Ella Writes: Secret Friend Event
Every year at camp, we have a special Secret Friend event. It’s so much fun! Everyone draws a name from the hat at breakfast and that’s the individual they have to be kind to for the next three days. You have to do little things to help out your Secret Friend (like cleaning their cabin or clearing their plate at dinner) and give them little gifts (like something you make at the Craft Cabin) while not being discovered! The rhythm maker must change up the pattern now and then, but it’s important to do it while It isn’t looking in their direction. Everyone else has to follow the new pattern by keeping an eye on the rhythm maker. If It thinks they know the rhythm maker’s identity, they can call out a name. If they’re right, that person is the new It. If they’re wrong, they have to keep guessing. After five guesses, let It … Read more
