Attention Collectors!

To celebrate 10 Years of Webkinz, we are holding a once-in-a-lifetime event starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2015.

For 10 days only, we will be making 10 each of 10 of our rarest virtual pets available for sale.

This special event includes two unique pets created especially for this occasion, the Ten Ton Elephant and the Timeless Wolf.  There will only be 10 virtual Ten Ton Elephants and Timeless Wolves ever sold.

This is your opportunity to own some of the most sought-after Webkinz ever created. Purchase is limited to one of each pet per eStore account.

In order to ensure that all of our members get the chance to take part in this special offer, we will be releasing the pets for sale on a staggered schedule throughout the promotion. Be sure to consult the schedule below for availability and pricing, because these pets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. When they’re gone – they’re gone!

Our 10th anniversary comes once in a lifetime and so does this Rare Pet Event. Don’t miss this unique opportunity.

These pets will only be sold through the eStore during this promotion. Ganz reserves the right to award these pets as prize in future contests.

Fifty to two hundred dollars? Is someone out of their mind? Wow! No way, it will snow in Brazil first!

figures. the only one i want and would pay for is going on sale while i’ll be coming home from a trip and won;t have computer access. oh well. also, i hope there is a way to prevent re-sellers from buying them all and putting them on ebay for twice as much.

I might … big huge might … pay $100 for the entire set … but not for one pet, or a half a pet .. even the $50 is high for one pet … regardless of how special or rare they might be .. especially for the 10th anniversary … that should be a time when they go all out to treat their loyal customer base .. enabling us to score the pets we have wanted for … up to years and not possible to get them.

I can not justify spending $200 on a virtual pet code. Insane. I am really very happy for the ones who can. Good luck to all the ones who are lucky enough to try and get one though! They all sound so awesome!

  5. shirlma says:

How ridiculous…Way too much money for a virtual pet.

  6. HazelCocoMoo says:

ummm, that’s too much money :(

All I can say is cray cray!!!

You guys simply can’t be serious. Virtual pets going for hundreds of dollars?? Have fun, rich kids!

  9. 4accounts says:

Wow, Wow, Wow! I really have wanted the Stone Lion and Sweet Tooth Tiger since I collect the cats, but those are pretty steep prices. I will need to check my piggy bank. LOL

These pet’s are so cute however, I can’t believe the cost! That’s ALOT of money. If they were also plush I could understand but for just a online pet….Wow! I own the fabled goose and I love her but I would not spend $200 dollars for her! I hope nobody spends their money on this, then maybe Ganz will consider lowering them so some people can actually have a fair chance of buying them. Most likely these pets will go to adult collectors who want them just to say, “I have one.” No hard feelings to Ganz but please….reconsider these prices!

I agree 100%! People should just not purchase these. I personally believe that the cost of a virtual pet shouldn’t exceed $18.00 so these hundred-dollar range prices are absolutely insane.
