Hello, Fiona! Thanks for answering so many of our questions. I have one for you, too! I love the Treasure Hunts; I’m so glad to see they are back. But I am wondering if we will ever have events that award the figurines from the past Treasure Hunts. I wasn’t able to complete my figurine collections before they ended, and my poor display shelves are only partly filled. I would really love to complete those. – IamPepper
Those figures are so cute, aren’t they? Unfortunately, unless there were a 1-day Treasure Hunt, these figures will not be returning as prizes for Treasure Hunts. That doesn’t mean they’ll never be a prize again, some way, some how… but it’s pretty safe that it won’t be through the Treasure Hunt. Virtual figures are still available through Ganz eStore, though, so you can still complete your collection that way.
Fiona, can you put in a word with the Ganz Webkinz Deluxe Clothing Designers? The monthly deluxe clothing in the deluxe boxes have gotten kinda uncreative and drab. I mean for August it was basically kacki shorts. I would like to see the Ganz team making up new and creative clothing that’s extreme and epic like it used to be. Thanks! – hollow79

Dear Fiona, I was wondering if there are ever going to be any contests that involve designing a room where Estore items are not allowed? I know that the people who have them did pay money for them so they should be allowed to use them but it is unfair to the people who can’t buy Estore items. I think it would be nice if for just one room design contest you were only allowed to use Wshop items. Thanks in advance if you answer this! :D -desivnk2003
Thanks for the question, desivnk2003! There have, in fact, been room design contests limited to W Shop furniture only. These days, though, it’s very difficult to see all of the items in a room, so it’s hard to say for sure whether absolutely every item is W Shop only, or if some are prize items, or if some are holiday gifts, or stuff from Sheldon’s souvenir shack. The judges look for all kinds of creativity in the rooms, so having eStore items isn’t a shoe-in for winning… and enforcing “W Shop Only” gets more and more difficult with all of the cool stuff that keeps getting added to Webkinz World… it would be sad to disqualify a great beach room just because it has a Sea Creature Plushy in it, don’t you think?

Hi Fiona! I know from reading your fan mail that Webkinz is sadly not planning to make any more lil’kinz. But what about the lil’kinz that there are already? Are they all retired, or do you still make them?

I’m sorry but I don’t agree with desivnk2003. I have many items that are from the estore (or at least not sold in the W shop) that I got as prizes. Prizes from floaty clickys, adopting pets, peek-a-news, room challenges, find the ad( there is at least 1 in the find the ad campaign for this weekend that I know is from estore)… None of these require “real” money and I would like to feel free to use them and not worry about “did this come from the W shop” each time I design a room.

Hi, Fiona. I’ve been wondering this for a really long time. I’ve had tons of ideas for new Webkinz, and I want to send them to Ganz and see if they can make them Webkinz, hopefully plushies, although I know how hard it is for them to do so since they have other people making the plush Webkinz. I’ve entered Design a Pet contests, looked for Contact Us buttons on Webkinz, and put some of my ideas on the Webkinz Newz forum entitled Make Suggestions. None have seemed to work for me. Is there any other way to tell Ganz my designs? Thanks.
I can’t make them into a video either. Is there another way? Thanks.
Hi, EmilyCuteHeart! I’m not a Ganz staff member, but I may somewhat be able to answer your question. I think really the best way to pass your ideas on is commenting your ideas in the comment section of posts (revealing new pets especially) and giving your ideas there. You could also ask for other players to comment and reply if they like your pet ideas to get more attention. Ganz reads a lot of our comments…If they see players really want something i’m sure they like likely to pass the idea on to the plush team. Of course, you could email the Support Team or Podkinz but that technically isn’t what it’s for. You could also try commented on Webkinz Facebook pages with your ideas. I really think your best bet is here on the Newz though! Also, even if Ganz really likes one of your ideas, they plan all their pets way in advance, so it would be awhile before you would know if they used any of your ideas. Hope this helped a little bit! :)
I agree about the deluxe monthly clothing. The cuff chinos seemed more like something you would get at the KinzStyle outlet.
Agreed. I’ve always loved the deluxe monthly clothing prizes, but the last couple months have been pretty disappointing, and the cuff chinos are probably the least creative item yet. I had to stick them in a wardrobe in my room so I didn’t mistake them for outlet clothes and sell them in the wshop.
