Hey fellow Webkinz fans, it’s Valarie VonScribe here!
Creating videos are one of my favorite things to do but watching videos is even more fun, especially when the starring cast are Webkinz Pets! This morning I found a holiday video titled “Webkinz Christmas!”, which I immediately shared with my friends at Webkinz HQ.
Stop Motion Videos
The video technique used in this video is called “stop motion”. Have you heard of it? Stop motion uses a collection of pictures taken with a digital camera, then the video editor puts all of the images together to make a moving video.
How to Create Cool Webkinz Videos
This can be a super fun activity and Webkinz Pets are perfect for acting jobs. Try taking a picture of your Webkinz Pet sitting down, then change your Webkinz’s position to stand up and snap a second picture. Continue to do this until you have a good number of pictures, then put the pictures into your computer using your digital camera.
After uploading the pictures to your computer, the video editor then needs to put the pictures in order within a video editing application. There are lots of different applications and ways to create stop motion videos, and I hope you enjoy the example below.

The meaning of Christmas is hidden in the pages of the story, ” A Christmas Carol “. My class read it before we let out for the holiday. I read the short(er) version of it. ;-)

That is something I’d never do considering how long it would take. It’s like those lego things that people do and it’s actually kinda cool but takes SOOOO much time so NO THANKS.

Hey guys, a little new info:
1. Yesterday I adopted a South African Springbok, her name is Kahali (Kuh-haul-ee). I hope you guys like her!
2. The next pet I will adopt is the Gelato Parrot (after Christmas for sure) or the Moon Fox (after Christmas for sure, will be named Moonstar)

Actually, they don’t take that long and they’re easy and fun to make. Since this one is pretty choppy at some points, I’m guessing it took them about 1-2 hours; 3 hour tops.
2 make a film that is 1 min 44 sec. will take way more than 2 hours, maybe like 5, I saw it on a T.V. show, and it looks tough! I personally don’t think that the song “Piggy Plum Pie” goes with the video. What do u think? Where is “Piggy Plum Pie” from? I never heard it.
This song is one from of the Pet of The Month videos, the song for the pig. Go to the Webkinz theater thing on the map to see them.
Just remember: Don’t Move The Actor Too Much Between Shots.

My sister and I love to play with our webkinz. We mostly play Harry Potter. (Harry Potter is played by my black bear, Backpack)
We haven't taped anything though. But when our Mom started reading the harry potter books to us we played along with webkinz. We pretended that the webkinz were making their own harry potter movies. Webkinz+HP= Best of both worlds.

That was so cute!! I make stop motion videos all of the time with my webkinz! I did this one where the webkinz started a flash mob it started with one webkinz dancing and ended with lots of them! you guys should really trty making them! They take patience but the end product is satifying! :D ;) :) :mrgreen:

Cool, Recently I’ve been really into making vidoes. I have a made a few stopmotions with my friends but it took us so long because we’d always fool around :) We don’t do webkinz videos though…
