Christmas Stop Motion Video Featuring Webkinz Pets!

Creating videos are one of my favorite things to do but watching videos is even more fun, especially when the starring cast are Webkinz Pets! This morning I found a holiday video titled “Webkinz Christmas!”, which I immediately shared with my friends at Webkinz HQ.

Stop Motion Videos

The video technique used in this video is called “stop motion”. Have you heard of it? Stop motion uses a collection of pictures taken with a digital camera, then the video editor puts all of the images together to make a moving video.

How to Create Cool Webkinz Videos

This can be a super fun activity and Webkinz Pets are perfect for acting jobs.  Try taking a picture of your Webkinz Pet sitting down, then change your Webkinz’s position to stand up and snap a second picture.  Continue to do this until you have a good number of pictures, then put the pictures into your computer using your digital camera.

After uploading the pictures to your computer, the video editor then needs to put the pictures in order within a video editing application. There are lots of different applications and ways to create stop motion videos, and I hope you enjoy the example below.
