Hi Moms, Dads and Grandparents,
We are running a live Twitter party tomorrow, where our grown-up fans have a chance to win Spree Bonus Rolls for the popular Webkinz™ arcade game Spree!
Every Saturday until the end of the summer (August 27th, 2011), we’ll be throwing a Spree party on Twitter from 2pm to 3pm EST.
If you can, follow us on Twitter ( http://twitter.com/Webkinz ), look out for our questions and chat with us from 2pm – 3pm EST. During the activity, we’ll be asking questions about Webkinz, room designs and characters such as Hailey & Ella McWoof – just click “reply” to our questions on Twitter for a chance to win.
Note: Twitter is not owned or operated by Ganz.
If you don’t have access to Twitter, you can still enter one of our other contests right here on Webkinz Newz.
Webkinz on Twitter: http://twitter.com/Webkinz
The Spree ads on WKN are better!
Kids want to be able to enjoy Webkinz, and using Twitter isn’t allowing them the same opportunities. Even as a adult, I don’t use Twitter, and I certainly won’t start just because I have a chance to win a Spree Roll.
I agree with you bedo4. The spree ad is way better.
WHAT?!?!?! Most ppl don’t even have twitter!!!! And what is webkinz thinking!!! what grown up would want to play webkinz on their kids account??????
I’m an adult who plays on Webkinz. I have had my own account since 2007 and I play on there 7 days a week. I also know many adults who play on WW every single day. You would be suprised how many adults are on the site playing.
THX PPL!!!!! Now if my mom finds out that more grown ups play on ww then kids she will totally take my account away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx really appreciate it!!!
I know my mom will do that too!!!!!!!!!
I’m the mom to 3 webkinz kids and I have an account myself because I love it! But I can’t stand this site…forcing minors and their parents/families to obtain twitter accounts for these contests.
i agree with you.and im a kid! ganz needs to have something set up on the site so that maybe if they did decide to go forth with there plans that it could also be aired on here to and the kids can comment too.cause if most parents don’t play this then how do they expect them to know stuff about webkinz? i’m sorry ganz, but your letting down a LOT of kids.
This is bad. Why not make it on Webkinz Newz? Then the 90% of Webkinz fans that are KIDS could win Spree bonus rolls…
Agreed. I mean, probably only 5-10% of all Webkinz players are over 18.
I’m on twitter, nor is my mom or dad.
My mom would love to do this! So would I lol. And yes I do agree with you webkinzwarrior none of my family or relatives have a twitter account but some of my siblings and my mom play webkinz lol.
Hey that’s not fair!!!! I agree with Tumble!! None of my parents or older reletives that I know of use Twitter!!! Webkinz was made for childeron around 6 or 7-20 or something like that. Most kids don’t have Twitter or Facebook!!!
Your friend, ~angus~
Webkinz was made for people 6-13+.I read that information on the WW homepage.BTW…TWITTER! REALLY?! Arrrh,oh well. I wish WW would stick to WKN instead of chat rooms!
Me too, WebkinzWarrior.
Me too :) But not have twitter :(
Only for grown-ups?
My parents or any grown ups that are related to me or I know of don’t play webkinz. AND they don’t have twitter.
yeah!!!
I totally agree, I think Webkinz is great fun, but its going to far i mean TWITTER! :)
I mean, Only for ADULTS?? Adults probably don’t even LIKE WKS!!! Why couldn’t they do it for tweens ages 10 and up? I was just suggesting that, because I’m ten.
My mom doesn’t go on Twitter at all. Plus I think the Youtube contest is way better than winning Spree! Bonus rolls. Ok?
Gras9
I know more adults who play WW than kids.
But I totally agree that twitter contests should be for adults, unless a parent gives children permission.
My mom is 40! and she plays Webkinz!!! 40! 40! LOL :) !!!
40 isn’t that old really.
I totally agree! No one in my family has twitter and ummmmmmmmmm no adults in my family have webkinz either so i don’t think this is a good idea!! –empq–
I agree they like are doing all kinds of things next thing you know you can’t go any where with out webkinz popping up. (I still love love love webkinz)
I agree. Only for parents? It really should be on Facebook, so many more people use that than Twitter. Ugh. I hate Twitter
Hi Sydnis. its anna. remember me?
i hope not.!,
