Hi Moms, Dads and Grandparents,
We are running a live Twitter party tomorrow, where our grown-up fans have a chance to win Spree Bonus Rolls for the popular Webkinz™ arcade game Spree!
Every Saturday until the end of the summer (August 27th, 2011), we’ll be throwing a Spree party on Twitter from 2pm to 3pm EST.
If you can, follow us on Twitter ( http://twitter.com/Webkinz ), look out for our questions and chat with us from 2pm – 3pm EST. During the activity, we’ll be asking questions about Webkinz, room designs and characters such as Hailey & Ella McWoof – just click “reply” to our questions on Twitter for a chance to win.
Note: Twitter is not owned or operated by Ganz.
If you don’t have access to Twitter, you can still enter one of our other contests right here on Webkinz Newz.
Webkinz on Twitter: http://twitter.com/Webkinz
I’m an adult, old enough to be a grandma and I love Webkinz World. I don’t use TWITTER, so I won’t be playing the game. I have no issues with any one who does use TWITTER, it’s just that I really don’t see the use of it. Anyway, to those that will be using TWITTER, I wish you good luck and fun. To the rest of us, I wish us all lots of luck with all the wonderful and fun games here on WKN and in WW! :-)
I’m a mom, I play on Webkinz AND I have a twitter account so I am looking forward to it – thanks Ganz for giving multiple different opportunities and ways to win different things :)
WOW! So many adults! By the way I’m a kid.
Whose grandparents do they know that has a Twitter account?!
I am an adult. I LOVE Webkinz. We adults do enjoy WW just as much if not more then some kids. My kids all have an account and I am on WW more then they are. They like it because it gives us a common link. I also read the Twilight series, Harry Potter, The Uglies, Pretties, Specials series and many more. It gives us just one more thing to do as a family.
Mibear72, I so totally agree with you. I love playing on webkinz, it’s a great stress reliever. I to also play more than my daughter now. Doing things with our children that interests them, shows them we care. It builds a special bond and opens lines of communication. You should try the Warriors series, my daughter and I love reading it together.
my daughter is 6 years old and im on webkinz everyday with her and I know other adults that are playing webkinz with there kids so this is cool
Who’s Webkinz supposed to be for anyway?
Yay! I made it to the Spree Mall Today!
Good for you! I’m only 3 spaces away! Can’t wait!
I agree with bedo4 I’m an older player and I love my webkinz but I don’t do twitter and I’m not going to join just to win a spree roll. I kinda hope nobody signs on for it.
I’m a parent w/ own account I play more than the kids do. and last time there was a Twitter thing, I couldn’t get it to work. I think there are a lot more than 10% of adults that play or even have own account. just look at the high scores on some of the word games and that tells me there are alot of adults playing. must be if holding special contest just for them. There is more than enough to do on webkinz’s sites. why adding other sites–you tube and twitter.
Yeah, I think the Twitter thing is going too far. I have tried the Twitter thing just for Webkinz, but I didn’t care for it. My kids actually get more Webkinz because I play. I don’t think I would have justified spending what I have for virtual codes if I didn’t know what it was going towards. A lot of the Estore items are over priced.
