Notes from the Science Journal of Alex Tiger
After establishing a new search area just outside of Adventure Park it looks like my efforts to discover a new rock MAY have paid off. I don’t want to speak too soon but it would appear that I have discovered a very rare and valuable specimen.
I have uncovered a large, shiny mineral of a type that I have never come across before. I took the specimen home – I mean to my lab – and put it under the microscope. Upon studying it closely I can see that its shiny appearance almost resembles that of gold, although it has a slightly different coloration.
I have searched through my reference books and so far have been unable to locate a rock that resembles my specimen.
And most importantly I have tried to chip into the rock and my failure to do so tells me that this is definitely NOT chocolate.
I think I may have a really big discovery on my hands! But I don’t want to get too excited until I’ve shown it to Arte tomorrow. He knows all about rocks and he will be able to verify my find.
LOL. NOT chocolate. I just think that’s funny but, that’s just me. :P
Great Alex. I hope it is really a rock this time!
Hmm, it sounds rather like mica to me, though it may be too hard for that, I’m not sure if mica would chip or not. I’d think he could tell if it was mica, though. ~~O~~SapphireSea~*~*~
