Camp Craft: Sock Puppet

Hey Crafty ‘Kinz, it’s me – Kimmy! I always love a good recycling project, so that’s why I ADORE sock puppets. They’re easy to make, fun to give to younger brothers and sisters – and pretty entertaining to play with!

Here’s what you need:

A sock (one that is missing its mate, or one that you don’t want to wear anymore), buttons, needle, thread, yarn, craft glue, fabric paint, felt

What you do:

1.       Draw a sketch of your puppet ahead of time. Figure out what you want to use for eyes, a nose, accessories and decorations.

2.       Create your puppet!

3.       When your puppet is finished, get together with your friends and put on a show!
