*Sigh* I’ve been thinking about how badly I behaved with Millie today and I am starting to wonder which one of us is really the little kid here. I know I should have been more mature. I guess a part of me is still hurting about the fact that Millie is Queen of the Easter Parade and not me. But that’s no excuse for behaving the way I did and Millie was right to fire me.
So today I took one of my most precious possessions over to Millie and Molly’s house to make a peace offering to her. Once, when I was a little younger, I took part in a beauty pageant and I actually won! Maybe that was why I was so anxious to be Queen of the Parade. I was remembering how good it felt to have all that attention showered on me. Anyway, now it’s Millie’s turn, so I offered her the tiara that I won in the pageant. I thought it would be perfect for her to wear during the Parade.
At first Millie was still mad but when she saw the tiara glittering in my hand I could see her eyes light up. She was so excited and she agreed to forgive me for the way I behaved. Then I placed the tiara on her head and turned her around to look at the mirror in her front hall. You should have seen the look on her face!
I am glad that I didn’t get to be Queen of the Parade because if I did, I never would have been able to make Millie feel the way she did at that moment. Seeing her face when she saw her reflection in the mirror made it all worth it!
Aww! that’s so sweet of you cowabelle! i’m sure millie appreciates it very much!
Grelot, That was a nice thing to do. Now you have to learn from your mistake and never make this one again. This is part of growing up.
ther millie goes AGAIN getting her way like always! cowabella if i were u id tell my mom that i didnt want 2 work WTH millie any mor and let the queen tend 2 herself! :-) ;-) *SOFTBALL*
Millie is FOUR years old. She’s Molly’s younger sister, not Molly, and Cowabelle was being a total brat. Happy Easter :!: -Serene
Good job! That was mighty nice of you to do that. But i would still kind of be mad at you. But now you can be back in the parade.
I’m sort of on both sides. True, Cowabelle should have learned her lesson. But think of how happy she was that Millie forgave her. Also even if you DO learn your lesson, that doesn’t make you perfect. Remorso11
That was really nice of you Cowabelle, but I don’t think giving up your most prized possession was needed. You could’ve given her something less prized, so you won’t miss it anymore. -bookworm
See? I knew you could! :-))
who are you and what have you done with cowabelle?
Wow! What a GREAT peace offering, Cowabelle!! And what a great ending to this whole situation. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. All the best! MDIChickadee
I agree with all of you who think that Cowabelle giving Millie her tiara was great. Sadly, I also agree with those who think her improvement will be short-lived. Old habits die hard.
