Crafty Critterz: Lily Pad Table

What you need:

  • Glitter Glue
  • Paint Brush
  • Green Paint
  • Red Paint
  • Hot Pink Paint
  • Light Pink Paint
  • Paper
  • Marker
  • Medium Sized Box
  • Scissors

What you do:

  1. Paint the box green and let it dry.
  2. Paint hot pink, light pink, and red lily pad flowers on the green box and let it dry.
  3. Put glitter glue in the middle of the lily pad flowers
  4. Cut a rectangle out of the paper and roll it up into a tube.
  5. Draw a rose on the paper, color it, and cut it out.
  6. Attach the rose to the tube with the glitter glue.
  7. Attach the rose on its stem to the box with the glue and decorate the rose with glitter glue.

    I sorta like it but it would have been cooler if it was shaped like a lily pad. Oh well, I will still try it

    I thought it would be shaped like a lily pad. Oh well. Still kinda cool. Still a lily pad shaped table with a pink flower on top can’t be beat.

      Hmm, what I would do is get a long, but not very high box. Then I would put greenish wrapping paper all over it. Then with that special kind of paper that you put in presents ( like to keep it from breaking ), make little flowers. With the flowers, you should stick them all over it. Make sure you use different colors. Find some green ( dark green or different color then already used ) construction paper. Cut out the shape of a lilly pad ( maybe more than 1 would be good ) and stick a pink flower in the middle. Then spread gold glitter everywhere.-Moonstar◘◘◘

          Oh and I forgot. Today I said I am babysitting till 5, but the 2 kids I am watching wanted me to show them
          my Webkinz! Thats so sweet lol. :D I’ll be back on at 5:00 today and then I have to leave again.
          I’m leaving to go to play practice at 6! It is sooo much fun. Its about the wild west and cowboys and Indians! Its really interesting too!

      Yeah I was expecting it to be shaped like a lilypad to. I don’t tink its the coolest thing but its sort of cool. It just needs a little more decorating.

      This could be made using an Ice cream carton top or a potatochip barrel top.Make the top blue then ad a lilypad and then all the decorations! Even an oval ice cream top would work!
