Hey, Hail! I actually had a fun day on tour for a change! It all started when we got to our latest concert venue. They showed me into my dressing room and – ugh! It was an insult to my sensibilities, Hailey. The room itself wasn’t too bad, but they had thrown in a whole mishmash of stuff. It was way too crowded. Check it out:
What were they thinking, shoving all that stuff in there? I mean, the dressing room is usually going to be used by acts passing through town. They don’t need that much clothing storage. One dresser would be fine, right? And the way it’s laid out – when I sat on the couch I couldn’t even see the TV! I asked the staff if they would mind if I removed some of the furniture in the room. They told me there was a big storage space backstage and I was welcome to move anything I wanted into there. They even offered to help me move the larger pieces.
Now, this layout just works so much better in my opinion. Streamlined, right? There’s a space for the entertainment center, a kitchen area, and one half of the room contains the clothing storage and a place to get ready. This is all you need!
You know, Hail, I haven’t had this much fun since I started the tour. It brought back so many fond memories to be getting my hands dirty again with a little heavy lifting. I really miss this.
I would take out that sterio like thing and reposition the table and chairs. That way, you can open the fridge! I’d also take out those thing in the corners. They’re pillars, right? Be careful Elwin they will want you do all the rooms as well as sing. You do them both with ease.
Way to go, Elwin, your makeover of this room is SO much better than the way it was! It’s pretty clear by now that you’re living thru the tour just to get home to Hailley & your design business! And, oh, Elwin??? Are you the Mystery Designer from Hailley’s design competition? Admit it, Elwin! :O)) You’re the best!

cool! both rooms are good, but like elwin said about the first one, WAY too much stuff. i love elwins design better.
You’re such a great interior designer Elwin! I think you should go back to that, considering it’s what you’re best at and what you love. If you miss it, then go back to it! It’s a hard decision to make, but you’ll get through it Elwin. I just think it would be better for both of you (Hailey and you) if things just went back to normal. You just seemed more happy.
Are you thinking about qiting??? I mean, you can do what ever you want to, it just seams that u shouldn’t. It sounds like you like to sing, so just think music every minute. Write songs when your fealing sick, when you get scared about going and singing on stage, just close your eyes and just sing! Tell yourself you’ll do fine, and you will! If you still like to designe rooms, on you free time, do just that! Draw rooms on a peice of paper, and then send them to your sister. Any who, I’m sure everything will turn out fine. – RainingSt@rz
I actually don’t think Eliwn is enjoying on what he’s doing, and Elwin, it’s not a chore, and it’s not something to be forced to do. I mean, if you don’t enjoy being in a band, you don’t have to do it. Just stop doing what you’re doing, if you don’t enjoy it. And even, you didn’t really enjoy going on tour, since your voice kinda cracked out on you. So, just don’t push it, Elwin – You don’t have to do what you’re doing now. I even think your designing is wonderful! You need to go back, being with your sister, and enjoy doing what you’ve enjoyed doing before – designing. :) ~Chicago Made ^.^

I love the 2nd makeover of the room. The 1st one is way too crowded, and it looks kind of small, but the furniture looks good. The 2nd beats the 1st though. Awesome job, Eliwn! See, you should go back to designing with your sister, Hailey. I mean, don’t you think she feels lonely without you? Your her brother, and I bet she needs you too. Not to tell you what to do, but I think you should go back to designing with your sister. ~Chicago Made ^.^
@Chicago Made – I seriously agree with you! And Elwin, I think you should give up what you’re doing now, and go back with your sister and design (Just like @CM said). ANd I think you’re not enjoying what you’re doing either, Elwin. Hailey must miss you, and you should go back being with your sister. Don’t you remember the days where you and Hailey were designing? You guys probably didn’t do the best designing, but you guys are still pros, and an amazing team. Your voice kinda blacked out on you, and…..do you have stage fright, Elwin? I think you do, and if being on tour, in a band isn’t what you wanna do, just give up. It’s OK to admit that you don’t wanna be in the band, or be on tour. -Kenzi *.+

@CM- I agree. The first room is just way too crowded, like u said. No Offence to that Elwin! The second room is nice though! Great Job, Elwin!
