Hey all! Elwin here, thrilled to show you my brand new studio – and it might even surprise you!
I know that when Hailey and I design rooms, I tend to be on the…shall we say, colorful side. My designs are almost always wilder than hers. Yet, my studio is definitely pretty tame. Don’t believe me? Check it out!
See what I mean? It’s not crazy at all!
And here’s why: when you’re working with lots of different colors, and when you have a very colorful personality, sometimes it’s necessary to keep your surroundings a little more peaceful. I love the bright gold countertops and desk, I adore the bright red curtains that contrast with the leafy-patterned green walls, and I was really lucky to score the settee! It’s super-comfy, and a great place to escape when I want to do some brainstorming in peace. Also, it’s quite good for napping.

Wow, That is so un-matching. I like to MATCH colors and make sure everything fits unlike that room. First Snow Flooring??? Those walls are nice, but the Fruitland Flooring suits the walls better. Hailey’s is way better, it’s more matching and like a studio. *~Ruchirock~*

The way Elwin layed out his studio, and what is in it……. looks like an office. I think Hailey’s is a little bit cramped, but overall I like the contents and colors Hailey chose better. More…… me. More…….. artsy.

Sorry, but Hailey’s allows for a much better work area that doesn’t make you feel bad if you spill paint or something

I think it’s a cool room, but it’s no where near as cool as Hailey’s studio. Plus it doesn’t even look as though he’s been working in it, it’s so clean! * The Stargazer *
It’s quite nice, actually, just not what I’d use for a studio. Hailey’s is definitely more studio-ish. This room looks more like a library with a work area, or maybe a living room. ;) ~*Dawn*~
