Father’s Day Contest Winners

Congratulations to Kellie, McKenna, Katje, Anna and Sue! They’ve each been awarded a Father’s Day Prize Pack! We wanted to know what you would get your dad for Father’s Day if you could get him anything at all. Read the winning entries below.

If I could give anything to the greatest man in the world (my dad) it would be The Getting Ready Machine because he always sleeps in. The Getting Ready Machine(TGRM) opperates like this: 1st: TGRM would wake my dad up at 9:30 with a fog horn. Then all my dad has to do is step into a elevator and in the elevator my dad gets a shower (includes shaving). After he takes his shower and changes into work clothes; he goes into a roller coaster that is 100 miles per hour to dry his hair. Then he walks into the kitchen and there is a metal plate o the wall with a bunch of buttons for a food choice. You can eat your fill. when he is done my dad would press a button on the side of the table to get his teeth washed. First, machine arms would come out and scrub his teeth clean. Then the arms floss his mouth. Last, he gets mouth wash. Ta- Da! Now my dad is ready for the day in 30 mins. All thanks to TGRM! – Kellie

If I could get my dad anything in the world I would probably get him a human hamster ball, with cup holders and a iPod built in. I think my dad would love that, even I would love that. The reason I would get that for my dad is because when he was little he had a lot of hamsters. He loved hamsters, so I’m pretty sure he would love a human hamster ball. Anyone I know would really like one. – McKenna

My dad loves taking pictures, and loves cameras, so I would get him the biggest, best camera in the world. It would have great resolution, so it would look 3D, and like it really was the thing that you took the picture of. He would love it, and I would be so happy to see his glowing face as he used it. It would also be able to take videos of things as if it were a professional video. It would also print out the picture that you took right out of the camera when you press the right button. He would love it. Happy Father’s day dad! – Katje

What I would love to give my Dad is a magic ladder. He could climb down from heaven and visit us for the day. We could have a cookout in the backyard like he used to love. He could sit and tell us all stories and laugh with us. He’d love to hear about school, camp, and what were doing. He’d enjoy playing baseball with us all even if he always has to win, that’s ok. At the end of the day, when it was time to leave, he’d give us all a hug and laugh. Dad always love to laugh. Yes, he’d love a magic ladder so he could spend just one more day with his family. – Sue
