My favorite fruit is the pineapple because I love its sweet taste with a mix of sourness. Also the pineapple is probably the largest fruit in the U.S.. There are many different ways to eat it. In pie, cake cubed sliced, and in smoothies. Yumm! Delicious! You can get pineapple everywhere. The W Shop made a great design with the pineapple. I have the whole set of the Fruit Land theme in my room! It looks great! My pet is very happy. Pinapple is yellow, which is my favorite color. I’m ready to have some fruity fun! (: LOL! - Gabi

The watermelon is a popular fruit for both humans and animals. My favorite fruit is the watermelon because I love summer, and watermelon is the fruit that most people enjoy on hot days. Watermelon has a cool juice that tastes good and hits the spot when it is 95 degrees or above every day, as it is where I live. Also, animals love watermelon, for example horses. I own a horse and she LOVES watermelon rinds. At the barn in the summer, the instructor always buys a watermelon for the kids at the camp. In addition, watermelon can be used as decoration and can be carved into different things, such as baskets and birds. I think this is amazing! Furthermore, watermelon is healthy and good for the body. It was used as a folk medicine and helps with disease prevention and treatment. Additionally, watermelon can be used for care on oily or dry skin by using the pulp or seeds to create a face mask. Finally, watermelon just tastes delicious and is the best fruit known to man. Well my favorite fruit is a Granny Smith Apple. That is my favorite fruit because it is kind of sour. I’m a sour kind of girl so anything sour I can sink my teeth around I’ll go for it. I also like this fruit because it’s juicy. I like anything with a bold flavor. This apple is not like any other kind of fruit out there. This apple is the best fruit I have ever tasted before and I would eat them with every meal or anytime of the day that I could. I also like this fruit because of the color. Green is my absolute favorite color. This fruit is amazing and I hope that it will be my favorite for ever! – Kayla

You may be thinking, tomatoes? Thats a vegetable! Well think again people, tomatoes are fruits! Tomatoes are great plain, with salt and sugar! When I eat tomatoes I feel like I cannot stop. Tomatoes are good with anything too. Cheese, crackers, sandwiches, fruit platters, salads, and many more. I like tomatoes best when they are crispy. – Catherine

I find that when I want a piece of fruit I am usually craving grapefruit. You might ask why do I crave such an unpopular fruit that most kids don’t know about? Well, the answer is simple. Contrary to my dad, who hates fruit AND fruit trees, I ADORE fruit, but especially grapefruit. The tangy citrus with the sweet juice that dribbled down the side of the grapefruit… Another reason, besides taste, that I like grapefruit is I grew up in a house with a grapefruit tree in the backyard. I really hadn’t known my dad wanted to cut that tree down, so when he did, I was in tears. Lucky for me, my Grandma told me how much SHE loved grapefruits and to this day we still sit on the porch every afternoon and eat a grapefruit each. The final reason why grapefruits are my favorite fruit is they are so interesting. How you cut them: sectioned. The utensil you eat them with: a grapefruit spoon. The name: It’ a grape AND a fruit. Those three reasons are why grapefruit is my favorite fruit. – Gina
