Congratulations to Riley, Michaela, Kelly, Adriana, and Kristin! They’ve each been sent a Secret Code for an eStore exclusive Golden Gobbler Turkey. We wanted to know how the Golden Gobbler celebrated Thanksgiving this year. Read the winning entries below!
On Thanksgiving morning, an excited Gobbles woke up, ready to celebrate the big day the way any Golden Turkey would. First, Gobbles went to the W Shop to buy some salad, potatoes, and of course his favorite cranberry gobbler. He whipped up some sloppy Joes and delectable vegetable soup for when his friends Marcy the groundhog and Fluffles the Blufadoodle came over for dinner. After all, who better to hang out with on Thanksgiving than a Golden Turkey? Soon, Gobbles was setting the table with his nicest Autumn china. They were decorated with delicate golden filigree and orange leaves carved into the middle of the crisp, cream colored plates. Fancy crystal cups were filled with yummy apple cider and silverware was laid out beside each plate. Then Gobbles lit a fire in his fireplace to warm the little dining room. Before he knew it, Marcy and Fluffles were there for dinner! And that’s how every Golden Turkey celebrates Thanksgiving; with friends. – Riley
Jack the Golden Gobbler Turkey was new to Kinzville! He had decorated his new home for Thanksgiving and was planning to invite all his friends from Webkinz! He sent out invites to all his pals from the Kinzville Academy and to Miss Cowoline too! He also sent out an invite to Tabby, Artie, and Dr. Quack. After writing out some more invites and handing them out, Jack went to the W Shop to get the Thanksgiving food! He got stuffing, mashed potato, gravy, and.. carrot soup? After Jack got back from the W Shop, he began adding secret spices to the carrot soup so everyone would see how great he was at cooking! Then, on Thanksgiving when everyone was at the table, Jack asked them how the carrot soup was. “I added some cool secret spices!” he told them. Everyone took a pause. “I have never had carrot soup for Thanksgiving before,” one of Jack’s pals said. “But now, I want to have your carrot soup every year!” So, that was how Jack spent his Thanksgiving, and everyone turned out to like the soup! - Michaela
The Golden Gobbler couldn’t wait until Thanksgiving. He finally went to sleep in his cozy bed. When he woke up, he saw all of his friends and family. His mom, dad, sister, brother, and all of his friends were there! “I am very thankful to have everyone here,” he announced, “Thank you everyone for coming. This is the best Thanksgiving ever because everyone is here!” They settled down and sat down to eat their feast. There was mashed potatoes, corn, and other great things to eat. After they ate, they played many games and took a nap. Sadly, every turkey had to leave and before anyone left the Golden Gobbler said, “Happy Thanksgiving, and I am grateful that everyone could make it!” Then, everyone had to leave and the Golden Gobbler smiled. It was the best Thanksgiving ever! - Kelly
The Golden Gobbler turkey wasn’t always gold. He used to be just a plain old normal boring turkey. He was a dull bird; just browns and whites and a little orange mixed into his normal boring feathers. One day, as he was walking down to the corn fields, he found an odd piece of corn. “My my,” he said. “This corn is gold!” He admired the corn’s beauty. “It’s so different! Oddly unique!” He then noticed it’s lovely aroma. “Well, it couldn’t hurt to take one bite!” So the turkey ate the corn. It was so good, that he kept on eating and eating until he realized he was now a gold turkey! ” I’m beautiful!” the turkey exclaimed. “I think I will share this beauty!” So the turkey went to Webkinz World on Thanksgiving, and he became their new pet. He shared his beauty, and brought fresh food to everyone. He even got magic bean seeds! He explained to little kinz the story of Thanksgiving too, right in the Kinzville Park! So to make the story short, this loving turkey helped make Thanksgiving great! -Adriana
Gary the Gobbler Turkey was afraid. It was only 7 days until Thanksgiving and he knew very well what the traditional Thanksgiving dinner often included. He certainly didn’t want to become somebody’s dinner! So Gary decided to take a vacation. He traveled to a tropical island for some sun and fun. He was having a great time working on his golden tan, when he received a letter from his friends saying that they missed Gary and hoped he’d be back in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. Gary wasn’t sure he should go back but surely his friends meant him no harm so he made his way home. When he returned he waddled over to Starlight the horse’s place where everyone was gathered. To his great surprise and relief his friends had ordered pizza for dinner, Gary’s favourite! Gary and his friends had the best Thanksgiving yet, after all, Thanksgiving isn’t about the food but rather who you share it with! -Kristin

That is cool. I thought they were really good. I think I wrote about the Golden Gobbler donating food to the Orphanage and giving the kids there toys. My ending sentence was: So the Golden Gobbler spent his Thanksgiving helping those in need, making their Thanksgiving one they would remember.
I thought mine was pretty good, but those who won’s were great! -Moonstar◙◙◙
