Hailey here with some exciting news: Elwin and I have completed Ms. Stripes’ backyard! I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out; not only does it have an in-ground lap pool (great for exercise), but it’s also got a couple of big trees, a garden, a greenhouse, birdbath AND a patio set! This backyard is ready for anything, from a barbecue with friends to a quiet early morning swim. And what did Ms. Stripes say? “Why, it’s just perfect!”

I so agree, but I have that pool and it cannot be rotated. They should have put it in a different part of the yard.
If that greenhouse is from the berry game I’d put it in the middle of my yard, plant a garden around it and then put the dirt track around the garden so my pet can ride her motorcycle around the garden while I water.jennifer
No, the Moonberry Greenhouse has a curvy top. This one looks very similar though.

I am happily surprised in one aspect – I don’t think any of these or e-store or deluxe or anything! I could do this if I wanted to. All I need to do is fill up a certain berry jar (I forget which one… maybe Pickleberry) and get the greenhouse, and I think the rest is from the W-shop. Thank you guys for designing a room that we common users can work with!
the greenhouse comes with the adoption of a little pig. they had 3 little ones, blue, green, and pink and each had a matching greenhouse. anyway, if you can get a similar one from filling berry jars i guess that’s what you’ll have to do.

I like the yard, but its kinda boring. No WOW FACTOR ya know? I think I could probably make a nicer yard than this.
This is not my favorite Mrs.Stripes room, the only real thing I like in there is that little Greenhouse thing. But otherwise, my Backyards are WAY cooler.
I actually think this room isn’t quite as good as some of the other rooms they’ve posted recently. There isn’t that much that’s exciting or original about the design; it relies on the coolness of the individual items (mostly the greenhouse and the pool) more than on an interesting design. The decorating posts are my favorites, so I’m a little disappointed in how this one turned out, and hope the rest of the rooms will be back up to par.

It’s not bad, just boring. I like my yards better too Moonstar. It’s funny they have the pool steps in the corner against the fence… You would have to swim across the pool to use them! Lol. ~DP

I like it, although, I think the fence should go all the way around. The fake plants should go too. I think this is a good summer/spring backyard, but I also think that they should do a fall one also ~*Mistyfoot*~

This backyard is cool, but I’m much more pleased with my backyards. @sonici- they probably made it in the summer and released it in the fall. @ Mistyfoot- yeah the fence should go all the way around… it would look way more even. — ke8o :)

Yeah, it is Fall, and that backyard kinda looks like a summer back yard. Ganz, why is the grass green? There should be leaves on the grass, and the grass should be more green-yellow, right? My grass looks kinda like that when it’s Fall in my hometown. And Fall has actually arrived in my hometown, surprisingly. ✖Chicago Made✖
