Guess which Elephant twins just got a phone call from one Chef Gazpacho? If you guessed Elwin and me, you’re totally correct (also, I don’t know of any other Elephant twins in Webkinz World, so…the answer was pretty obvious, I suppose).
Anyway, yeah! Chef Gazpacho called us and asked if we could do him a HUGE favor: surprise his good friend Chef Sophia with a brand new dessert café! If there’s anything I love more than decorating, it’s dessert! Elwin and I each have our own designs (of course), so we decided to make this a bit of a competition between us. We’d love to know which design you like best. Let us know in the comments and we’ll create that café for the lovely Chef Sophia!
Here’s Elwin’s Design:
Elwin chose a palette of blue, green and cream. The dark brown diamond pattern on the counter really stands out and looks sharp! This café is light, airy and really pretty. It pains me to admit it, but my brother has some talent.
And here’s my design:
I went for a more traditional café feel. I used pinks, creams and greens (with a bit of yellow) to make my café funky and fun. I used pictures on the wall and a fireplace to create cozy chatting area.
Which one do you think Chef Sophia will like best?
Elwin’s is so much better! I think it is the best room designed by one of them I have ever seen. The only things I would change are (1) Make room for the chefs to get out of/in the kitchen area, (2) Replace the tulips with daisies, they would match so much better… The tulips’ colors just clash too much with the color scheme. And (3) Replace Elwin’s display with the display in Hailey’s room.
Well, Hailey’s is good but she has a cramped kitchen area, so i like Elwin’s better!
I like Hailey’s but it isn’t very bright. I like Elwin’s because his is bright, comfy, and cozy! Some people say his isn’t but look at the chairs! COZY?! I think yes! Go with Elwin’s design! All they way! XD

I think I prefer Elwin’s room because I just like the color. You walk in and it’s not too overdone -perfect cozy feel. I also like Hailey’s but it’s a bit too like the old days -and I don’t really like the dark walls -a bit too gloomy, I’d say… anyways love both!
I definitely LOVE Hailey’s! Elwin’s design had a bit too much colors, and it was kinda crowded around the kitchen area.
I LOVE both kitchens, but I think I choose Elwins. It’s something that you wouldn’t see anywhere else and it seems more cheery with the lighter color choices. Both rooms look amazing though! It’s great to have Elwin and Hailey join the Webkinz team!

I vote for Hailey’s. I like the counters in Elwin’s but the plush chairs and couch don’t really go. If I was in Elwin’s I would feel like I have to whisper. But Hailey’s makes me feel like it’s a place to have fun and laugh without having to worry about disturbing anybody else. Go Hailey!
