Hailey Interviews Designers
Well, I’ve received a pile of resumes from potential design partners so, as part of the interview process, I decided to put forth a design challenge and ask each candidate to design a kitchen. Based on their work experience, the candidates that I asked to provide designs are PJ Collie, Wiggles Pig, and Tabby Von Meow. PJ has a lot of retail experience from working at the KinzStyle Outlet. Tabby seems to be a Jack-of-all-trades after running the Employment Office for so long, and Wiggles Pig is a great designer in his own right. We just need to see if we could forge a partnership.
The weirdest thing is that when I received all their design proposals, there was another set of drawings that were submitted. I just found them on my desk and I have no idea where they came from. And the thing about the drawings is that they’re really – well, I’ll let you judge for yourself.
So here are the designs submitted by Tabby, PJ, Wiggles and… ?
Tabby
Tabby decided to go with a country theme for her kitchen. She used the Wind Farm Wallpaper to really capture the country feel. She created a huge eating area with several Country Home Dining Tables, Chairs and Benches. She really went for it with the Tangerine counters though – I’m not sure. I think maybe this room is a little bit too country, and not enough rock ‘n’ roll, you know?
PJ
Wow! What a colorful space PJ has created with this vibrant green room! The Guildwood Hall Wallpaper and the Fruitland Flooring create a stunning backdrop for the Flower Power Modular sectional sofa and tables. I think it’s really interesting the way she created a dining area using the sofas and a Fresh Glass Dining Table. The Green Apple Counters are nice with the Flower Power set, but do you think they might clash a bit with the darker greens? But I do love the cozy nook she created with the Clean and Green Fireplace flanked by two Wicker Chairs.
Wiggles
Oh wow! Wiggles always makes a statement and this room is totally in keeping! It’s absolutely divine! He used my favorite appliances from the High End Collection and he mixed them up with some pieces from the new Mega Modern theme. But placing everything against the stunning Ancient Civilization Flooring and Wallpaper just raises it all to another level, you know? And with the Elegant Manor Fireplace this certainly is a grand kitchen. I’m just not sure it’s got mass appeal.

And here is the mystery candidate’s design. I don’t know who this is, but this is a designer after my own heart. I just love the Studio Loft Wallpaper. It’s got such an edgy feel. And I adore the way they created a long island using several Dehyrdrotope Drink Bars and Bar Chairs from the Mega Modern theme. Isn’t it cool how they created the entryway by putting an Oval Contour Cabinet on either side of the door? Again, how can you beat the High End Collection and the divider between the work space and the sitting areas creates a real sense of intimacy. The Polka Dot Chairs set off the Frosted Top Dining Table and Omni Glass Dining Chairs perfectly and I really like the reading nook with the Cushioned Blanket Chest and Downtown White Armchair. The Downtown Chic Sofa and Chairs look great in this funky space. I just wish I knew who designed this!
I liked em all but I ESPECIALLY liked Wiggles! Great Job all! I think the anonymous person is…. NIBBLES! :O

i thik the mystery designer is elwin or is it…………… any ways i dont really like tabbys because it has to much of the same colour but if she mixed differentcolours id love it i like pjs because of the colours and as for wiggles it really lppks cool i just think it sow white~doglover

I love both PJ’s and the anomymous designs! The anonymous design reminds me of a restaurant, and PJ’s reminds me of a garden. :)
Go Mystery Designer! I don’t like Wiggles’s room! Sorry Wiggles, you’re a cute little character and all, but you’re no designer. I had a thought: What if the Mystery Designer is Elwin? Maybe he heard about the contest and decided to enter and surprise Hailey. Just a thought. Play around with it as you may.
I don’t think he would do that because he wouldn’t have time for it (designing the entry or winning).
There all amazing looking rooms, but I’d go with the mystery designer to be your partner, Hailey. They’re all so amazing! :) ~Chicago Made☠
I think the mystery partner is either Nibbles, Elwin, Fluffington, or someone we haven’t met yet.
I like all the designs but I think you should pick the mystery designer to be your partner. Good luck figuring out who it is.
I vote for PJ! Im a girl who likes things nice and simple, and the last one has just too much!!! No offence, but I dont vote that one. My secont vote goes to Tabby! She made the room have lots of outdoor light, andmy 2 favorite things in a room is for it to be lighted and simple! Go PJ!! :) ~KK♥
Im not sure which one I like. Theyre all pretty good. I wonder who the mystery designer is. I do wonder… Elwin? I just know it is him! :)

I think it’s Allysa! O_O or Nafaria. Maybe even Daycey Bryn! Or Inukshuk. Maybe an extra Tabby Von Meow design? Ooh! i know now! Chef Gazpacho! The kitchen looks so mutch like his! No, it’s gotta be Arte Fact. Look at all the rare items! No, Debbie Dragon. Traveler style! Wacky Zingoz! wacky and wonderful! No, Zangoz. I thoght i saw a bat, hidden by the wall. or is it just me? anyway, it could be Elewin.
I think It is Elwin, Green ninja. But it could be all of the other Kinz you mentioned.
I agree @oldwoofie!!!! I totally think it’s Elwin. He probably is having second thoughts about the tour and wants to go back to designing rooms. This last room screams Elwin and who else would make a room that “designs after Hailey’s own heart”?
the mystery must be Elwin! I like Wiggles’ design the best though.

Me 2 KK. The anonymous reminds me of Cinderella & the glass slipper business. I wanted PJ 2 win so that worked out 4 me. I hope the anonymous is Elwin! $Strawberry out$

I like Wiggles’ design best. It’s retro and modern, and that’s what I’m looking for. IDK what Hailey thinks, but I like it! ~CC~

Wow- Great designs, every1! Tabby’s idea to go country is so cool, I really like her design. Although I think she should have put more chairs on the other side of her tables. I think it would look better that way. PJ did a good job, but I’d have to say her’s is my least favorite. And why does she have those pillows in the corner near the waiters cart? Wiggles is my favorite! He did an excellent job and I think his design is gorgeous and chic! Anonymous- I wonder who it is?- did an amazing job on his\her design! I like rooms that are regal and sophisticated, I guess I don’t really like any of them, but I do kinda like Tabby’s. It seems like it could be someone’s get away room. :) -Moonstar◙◙◙
I love the mystery designers kitchen and tabby’s kitchen. I think that the mystery designer is Elwin, ya know, trying to help out his sister by coming back. but making it a surprise

Tabby: A bit too orange in my taste. I don’t like it. Sorry Tabby! PJ: Very green and beautiful! It looks stunning together. I love it! I think it is too! The person designed a room that Hailey said she absolutely loves, and who would know what type of design Hailey likes better than Elwin. I would like Wiggle’s if he changed the walls and floors. Too much white! The lack of colors is damaging my imagination! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love having my strange obsessions! Like PENGUINS!
