Are they on your friend list on your phone? If not, you need to send them a FR just the way you do for anyone else on your snowball list.

I believe that I had to click on the hosts to friend them (ex, at the Curio Shop, I see Arte and I click on him.) Not sure if that’s still the same, but they’re on my phone.

I’ve been able to ask the hosts for items I needed for building kits but not for collection items such as the snowballs. Weird :(
You cant ask the host for snow balls because they will always send the item(in this case snowballs) like if your working on a building kit they will of course send you stuff, but for snowballs you have to ask your friend, NOT THE HOSTS
