Hailey: Today’s room redesign was probably my favorite of all of them. I LOVE the library.
Elwin: I do too. It’s such a great place to go!
Hailey: This particular library was in the Kinzville Academy. That explains why it’s so…what’s the word, Elwin?
Elwin: Juvenile. It was perfect for a kindergarten-aged kid…but what about the older students? They needed a much more grown up library. Those chairs were so tiny!
Hailey: Agreed! Here’s what we came up with.
Hailey’s Design:
Hailey: Ah, serenity. I LOVE the quiet feel of this library. The white couches, the wicker chairs, the wood floors – so comfy, yet so mature. Both young and old students will enjoy this space. It’s perfect!
Elwin’s Design:
Elwin: And here’s my design! OK, so I decided to go more imaginative with mine. Check out the suits of armor! The golden fireplace! The floating lamps! It’s such a cozy, friendly, cool place. Can’t you imagine wizards and dragons just hanging out there reading their favorite books?
What do YOU think, readers? Do you love Hailey’s simple elegance, or Elwin’s imagination?
I love them both. Elwin’s reminds me of the perfect place to do reading to little kids but Hailey’s is who I’ve got to go with because, and this is a big because, It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book. I give it a thumbs up and can’t wait to see what you do next!
Hailey’s is best! Very clam and quiet, perfect for a library! ☺
Hailey’s :D Sorry Elwin, Think Girls have better sense of design! Just kidding lol
I vote for Elwin’s design. I do love Hailey’s, but Elwin’s is so imaginative! And a library is a great place for imagination. It could use a little more seating, though.
i like them both but they need more color ye i get it its a library but still if i had 2 pic well i just DONT no! :-) ;-) *GO GOLD*
Elwin – there are elements of your room I really like – the floating lamps for a touch of whimsey, and the suits of armor to stimulate the imagination. However, the fireplace is too large and too gold and there needs to be more seating of some kind. Hailey – I love this design, but you lack any whimsey: it seems very formal (white couches for an elementary school library???) and I think some beanbag chairs for any size child might be nice. I like both designs, but think that Hailey’s is a better overall approach than Elwin’s. Sorry, Elwin! All the best1 MDIChickadee
Sorry guys. Neither of these are your best works and I don’t like either. If I was forced to use one I would choose Hailey’s. Elwin, yours is to wizardy
I don’t really like either of them, what about the little children in the library, you still need somewhere for them to be, Elwin’s is too harry potter, and Hailey’s design is just doesn’t really feel like a library, so no points for both of you, sorry! P.S. Hailey: 2 points Elwin: 0 points. ~♥ Peace, Love, Happiness, GentleDreamer~♥
Elwin’s freaked me out, I love the library, but not when it looks like that. I like a library that is calm and quiet, but with a air that could suggest that you don’t have to be to quiet. Like Hailey’s. So, after a very long and senseless explaination, I vote HAILEY. But maybe some more bookcases……!!?!?!
ohhh I really love Elwin’s room for the library! It makes me want to read and do homework all day long! Hailey’s is also nice for group gatherings and team projects.
