Kinzville Academy Tour – Part 1

Hello, readers! It’s Mrs. Cowoline here – the superintendent of Kinzville Academy. As many of you are no doubt preparing to return to school, I thought I might take this opportunity to take you all on a tour of our very own Kinzville Academy. I hope you’ll enjoy getting a peek into some of our classrooms and common rooms.

Let’s start in my office. This is where I do most of my work. Here I meet with parents and  teachers and occasionally an errant student in need of guidance. I so enjoy the sunlight streaming through all the windows and I do love to be surrounded by my books. I hope that with these comfy chairs and plants my office makes a welcoming environment for students, but is businesslike enough to let me focus on the important tasks associated with running the school.

When my colleagues and I need to hold larger meetings, or when we’re eating lunch or taking a break, we like to relax in our homey staff lounge. Its large table does double duty as both a boardroom table and a lunch station, and we can grab a coffee or a drink from the fridge and chat together on the comfy couches. I find this cozy room offers just the right balance between a respite from a busy school day and a place to plan our curriculum.

I just love books, Webkinz fans! They are truly a joy. So one of my favorite rooms in all of Kinzville Academy is our well-stocked library. We have thousands of books on most every subject. Students of Kinzville Academy are welcome to browse through our massive selection of fiction and non-fiction to research school projects or simply to find a novel to enthrall them. As you can see, we have tables set up where students can work in a quiet environment as well as a pair of comfortable reading chairs for story time. This may be my favorite room in the school, readers, but then I’ve always had a weakness for books!

I look forward to showing you more of the school later.

I absolutely LOVE these rooms! LOL if only I had the creativity of these room creators! I’m making a boho-themed outdoor room, though, and it looks like a webkinz room creator made it theirselves! :]

I love this feature. I have an academy on my site too. I have rooms like a Cooking Class and a Science Class. I will have to start posting in the Share Center classroom section. I can’t wait to see more of the Academy!!!!
