Great news, everyone! Roberta here with a really awesome new craft to try out. It’s a great way to make marbled paper with shaving cream and food coloring!

What you need:

Cookie sheet, shaving cream (the foamy kind), liquid food coloring, pencil, printer paper, spatula

What you do:

1.      Put a layer of shaving cream in your cookie sheet.

2.      Drip different colors of food coloring onto the shaving cream.

3.      Swirl the food coloring around with your pencil.

4.      Put your piece of paper on top of the colored shaving cream and press down gently.

5.      Lift off the paper and scrape the excess shaving cream away with the spatula.

6.      You should see a beautiful marbled design on your paper!

7.      Use your paper to wrap gifts, make cards, or just get creative!

awesome idea Roberta im definitely going to do yours inkjoy(it sounds really awesome)! i remember i did something like this in kindergarten i think you coloured a tissue (or was it a coffee filter?!)with marker and with a bunch of different colours and then you dip it into water after the you let it dry and when its done drying you will see a marble sorda colour and then you scrunch it in the middle to make it look like a bow but instead we put pipe cleaners in the the middle and we made it a butterfly but i cant remember if it was a coffee filter or tissue!!!

Eh, I didn’t post that comment. Somebody’s being a copier of me, and please don’t do it anymore. And about the Marbled Paper, it looks really cool. I used to do something like this all the time (NOT when I was 6). ;) ~Chicago✖ Made

Eh, CM? I think there’s a copier… Love your idea, SC! I understand, and I’m glad ur back! No wonder why you never answered my KinzPost letters. -RW*

Sorry I wasn’t (and still not on WW) on WKN for a long time. I was/am on vacation, and I was busy so I only can post comments. Hope you guys understand. ;-) @CM- If you say it’s a copier, it’s a copier. What I hate most of people coping is their using of a signature. My sig doesn’t work anymore, so I have to do a different sig now. Shame, because I spent a lot of time working on it. About the marbled paper, it’s cool- I made some before in my science class in free time. Tip: if you want to write your name, take some uncolored shaving cream, put 1-2 drops of food coloring on it, take the pencil (I prefer toothpicks) to swirl/mix the cream. Then, dip your pencil/toothpick, and write your name backwards. (letters included) Voila! -SC
