Ms. Stripes Class Party: Not So Fun

Wow! I just cannot believe how little Halloween spirit Ms. Stripes has! Today Alex and I made these really cool ghost decorations to hang up in the classroom and when Ms. Stripes saw them she said no way. What??? How can you have a Halloween party without scary decorations? What is her problem? She said that there are younger kids in the other classes who might be scared if they are passing our classroom and see these creepy ghosts hanging up. First of all, Halloween is all about being scared, and second, even little kids know it’s just pretend! Have you seen some of the spooky looking decorations around town? Every kid who walks to school through Kinzville must come across gravestones and ghosts hanging around people’s yards. They know it’s all in fun! Ms. Stripes is just determined that this party is going to be a big yawn. Even though she’s been pretty nice lately, I think that deep down she still thinks school should be no fun at all.

I may be completely wrong, but I have a feeling Ms. Stripes is going to surprise her class with a really cool party.

My heart goes out to you, bro. Ms. Stripes shouldn’t be surprised if no one shows up… Halloween is awesome, this party doesn’t sound awesome whatsoever. Sigh…

Wow, this teacher is all about control! If I were the Kinz I’d forget all about this party & have their own after school. They could invite their friends from Miss Daisy’s class too!

Great Idea!!! I hope the kinz do have a party after school. Happy Halloween!!! Maybe, Ms. Stripes never had a Halloween Party when she was in school. It’s the only reason I can think of for her not to allow one, unless she’s worried about kids with food allergies. I’m sure we’ll find out sooner or later.

@Catkin, that’s a great idea! At my school, we do this “Integration Day” on Halloween, where all the Junior classes go around doing all sorts of cool activities! Now that I’m an Intermediate, I get to help host and organize this cool event! ~CC~

I’m sorry Sparky. I thought Ms. Stripes was nice but apparently not. Maybe u could make a kids version of ghosts. Like just a white cloth tied around a lollipop w/ black buttons 4 eyes. Just simple or u could make a funny ghost. Hope this helps! `CS~

Sorry to say Sparky, but I kinda agree woth Ms. Stripes. Not exactly by the scaring little kids part, but you dont need those things for a party. Ive never had them in my classroom. Whats the point if all theyre going to do is hang on the walls? My sisyer had her Halloween party today, she dressed like Rupunzel with my long blonde wig, she looked so wierd with it on! ~KK♥

I feel for you, Sparky!!! But seriously, the KINDERGARDEN and PRESCHOOL classrooms are all decorated with even MORE than just hang-up ghosts. Maybe you can do wall art (not really on the wall! just like on a big piece of cardboard or something) and stick it on. ~*Star*~

I’m sorry to hear about that, Sparky. But it’s true, little kids ARE scared of Halloween, and yes it’s to be a scary…I guess holiday. I wouldn’t put really freaky decorations in the classroom, but something kinda cute for Halloween. You know, something that’s not to scary, but kinda scary. I mean, you don’t need to freak little kids out, cause if you do, they won’t sleep for a week, probably (That would NOT be cool nor good). Like @Cherry Starburst said, maybe do those kids version of ghosts. There are different kinds of kids’ version of ghosts to make, and @Cherry Starburst did use one idea, but there are others. Just use something not too scary. I mean, Ms. Stripes should allow some kind of Halloween decoration, but it seems as she doesn’t want the little kids to be scared…at least she cares about the little ones. ✖Chicago made✖
