Wow! I just cannot believe how little Halloween spirit Ms. Stripes has! Today Alex and I made these really cool ghost decorations to hang up in the classroom and when Ms. Stripes saw them she said no way. What??? How can you have a Halloween party without scary decorations? What is her problem? She said that there are younger kids in the other classes who might be scared if they are passing our classroom and see these creepy ghosts hanging up. First of all, Halloween is all about being scared, and second, even little kids know it’s just pretend! Have you seen some of the spooky looking decorations around town? Every kid who walks to school through Kinzville must come across gravestones and ghosts hanging around people’s yards. They know it’s all in fun! Ms. Stripes is just determined that this party is going to be a big yawn. Even though she’s been pretty nice lately, I think that deep down she still thinks school should be no fun at all.
omg omg omg i go to a public school so we arent allowed to have xmas or halloween r even valentines day partys but i agree with GirlyGirl1 ms.stripes might just have a memory of a haunted house or something but the lil ppl could just get over it but ms stripes has a point bcaus my friend peyton has really freakin good decor @ halloween and my sister is so scared when she comes to their house she backs off like chicken xp but i run over to peyton and show off xp
Maybe she thinks your a little old for that….. just a thoght, but dont worry. She could be just having a bad day. Hey, why dont you make some and hang them up at home? Any one like that idea???
Perhaps Ms. Stripes had a bad experience on Halloween when she was younger. Things can still be fun. Just try decorating without things that are scary! See if she will allow you to use pictures of witches that are pretty and are smiling. How about ghosts that are smiling. Try going for a theme that is not scary, and more friendly.

I’m soo sorry about that Sparky. Maybe you should ask Ms. Stripes if you can just a ghost doll and put it in your classroom.
Mrs. Stripes probably does have a reason for doing this, and not all of us enjoy Halloween, Sparky (Including me).
