I must say, this project for Ms. Stripes is going really well. Elwin and I are just loving getting back into our old pattern of working together, and we’ve found her so easy-going as a client. It’s really starting to make me wonder what is going on at school because I talked to Nibbles again the other day and she is still so down on Ms. Stripes. Elwin and I have been talking and we’re thinking that somehow we have to get to the bottom of this.
Anyway, on to the fun stuff! Ms. Stripes says she loves to cook and entertain. The thing is, she has a dining room so she said that even though she wanted an eat-in kitchen, she wasn’t looking for anything overly formal. She said a casual space where she could hang out and enjoy coffee with her friends (funny, Sparky SWEARS that it is absolutely inconceivable that Ms. Stripes has any friends), but with plenty of workspace for experimenting with new recipes.
We used the Bamboo Print Wallpaper and the Golden Hardwood Flooring to create a light, airy feel. We added a couple of stainless steel appliances as well as a Culinary Cat Counter, and an island where Ms. Stripes could work while her friends sampled her dishes. We used some items from the 70’s theme to tie into the golden tones of the flooring and walls and a couple of Golden Barstools complemented the island perfectly. Instead of giving her a formal dining table, we designed a relaxed eating area by using the Avante Condo Coffee Table. And because Ms. Stripes said she enjoys having coffee with her friends we installed her very own Espresso Yourself Station in the corner.
Luv it!!! great job guys!!!!
Hailey, I totally love this room! And that’s saying a lot because I’d never choose bright yellow to do a room. Great job! Good luck finding out what’s up with Ms Stripes & her class.
WOW,AMAZING,COOL!
nice! i like the kitchen! &*fluffy*&
I love it. :)
WOW! That kitchen looks GREAT! Good job!!! ~*Gringersnap*~
@Gingersna, I agree (your name caught my attention because I just ate gingersnap cookies!) I wouldn’t use a gold color for my kitchen, but seeing as they did, they did a very nice job.
Pretty, butI wouldn’t want my kitchen so bright, more of a pastel color. What do you guys think. Sorry I haven’t been on much, i have A LOT of homework, But since I LOVE FALL FEST, I have been making the time :) :) :) ~*Mistyfoot*~
I like the color scheme, but you are right Mistyfoot…To bright.
cool room :) ΩWolfBlazeX
I think this is the best you two have done in Ms. Stripes’ house so far. The bedroom was alright, but I really like the cozy feel of this one. The oranges and yellows are good for fall.
Love♥ the room :P I wonder why the “Kinz” don’t like her. I haven’t had time to comment these days :( BUT, I will start commenting now :D :) ♥♥Zebra♥♥
My PE teacher is very organized and doesn’t like to put up with things being out of order, but if you behave, participate, and reach out, she’s a really nice person. On Friday, someone who I was starting to become friends with decided she didn’t want my friendship after all, and my PE teacher could tell I was upset about something and asked what was wrong. She may seem distant and strict, but she’s really a nice person when you get to know her
good job guys i really like this one im sure mrs stripes is just strict for the kinz because they want them to have a better future!!~morningshine

Why is there a vacuum when there is no carpet.
Wow, her house is awesome! $SoccerLapras20886$
Yes, Soccerlapras! I TOTALLY agree. The chinese (Maybe Japanese?) wall makes it feel warm and comfy. And the Expresso Yourself Station greets the room with a hint of personality. The cullerinary cat counter sure brings a bit of how she likes to cook! Shinyskitty shines away!
I like this room it is CUTE!! I’m making a Beach House right now.
