Hey there! Nibbles here with some great tips for studying for tests. No one LOVES taking tests, but they’re a part of school – so here’s now to do your very best!
First, starting about a week before the test, re-read your notes. See what you wrote down in class, and try to understand and remember the key points. If you’re fuzzy about anything, visit your teacher and see if he or she can clarify the concepts for you. Remember: your teacher wants you to do well!
Second, look at your text books. Read any chapters that your teacher mentioned and pay attention to any important details. You can make notes on flash cards if it helps you learn the information. Some people work best by writing notes, some work best by drawing pictures, some work best by saying the information out loud. Whatever your learning style, do that!
Third, make yourself a practice test. Come up with questions you think your teacher might put on your test, and see if you’re able to answer them. If not, more reviewing is in order.
Finally, study with a partner. You can work with a friend, sibling or parent (or tutor, if you have one). Ask your partner to quiz you on the subject, and then (if it’s a friend who happens to be taking the same test), you can do the same for them.
On the big day of the test, just take a deep breath and be calm – you’ll do great!
my least favorite thing about school is running! I HATE running!!! (im horrible at it!) every thing else is fine
i should use those tips in french school, in case they give me a test… i should use those tips for any tests. and my school dream is to be the fastest in my school at everything!
loveable
im a 7th grader and i haven’t had a “test” yet (i’ve had a math quiz though. i read at a high school level and i love tests! (espesceally sol tests, we have them in my state.) im a bad speller though…. :(
Wow. Great tips Nibbles. I’ll try them for my math test. It’s in 2 weeks or so… I hate tests, too. But I guess it’s one bad thing about school, other than math, oral speeches, and science…

I took a Chemistry class and one time since our test are in our books i turned to the wrong place and took the wrong test
Wow! This really helps: I have followed this for my teachers tests! Even though I got a question wrong (Question: Somehting about a snowy cold place… I thought it was polar, but it was taiga!!) I still tried. Even with long division. I tried.
oh yeah i learned about Taiga two weeks ago (in a weather unit) but our teacher would never give us a test on it we had no idea until we learned and long division is EASY for me anyway
a taiga is a evergreen forest (science)
Cool Nibbles! ;-)

One other tip: With bubble sheets, (you know how with multiple choice you have to fill in your answers on another sheet?) Double check, because if you get one answer choice in the wrong space, all the others are too. Yikes! :? I’ve done that once, and I don’t want to do it again.
could u have said this on thursday nibbles? i had two tests on friday (ok technically one was a quiz) and i dont think i did that great. and the test test i had to do was for an evil teacher and if i get a bad grade she’ll yell at me
