Plumpy’s Panic!

 

Hey everyone, Plumpy here. I’m SO nervous about tomorrow! It’s my wedding, and I keep thinking I must have forgotten something. I mean, I’ve got the food, the location, the deejay, my dress…jewelry…but…oh, it’s probably just nerves! What do you do, friends, when you get SUPER nervous about something? The advice hippo needs some advice from you!

    One solution I use when I’m nervous is reading my fave book or watching a good movie or show. And don’t be nervous–you should focus on the fact that this day is the best day in your life–your wedding.

    I think a warm Bubble Bath and relax,,call Sir Charles and talk with him for a bit..relax Plumpy it will be the most amazing day in your life..Good luck it will all be great!!!!

    Get a good book, a bottle of ice cold water, a box of chocolates and take a bubble bath. You’ve already done everything, now, relax and enjoy it. lol. jennifer

    Plumpy, I know what you mean! My suggestions are to take a hot shower to relax. Make a checklist of the things you need for tomorrow, and check it as you go. I’ve always felt like this before a concert or a recital, so join the club!=D

    Take a breath Plumpy! I mean everything is in order right? So what are you worrying about? I had my dance recital this month and I was a little nervous and my heart rate sped up, but I knew that I knew the dances I was performing and everything went fine! So keep your head up! -PHN :D

      I think the best way to calm your nerves is to be prepared. Think about all the things that might go wrong and an appropriate solution if that thing should occur. ~Chicago Made☠

        Whenever I’m nervous for something like that, I make sure I’m totally prepared. Like for a test, I cover all questions I would possibly have to answer and make sure I know them well. ;) ~Chicago Made☠

            When Northwestern and I were flower children for her older cousin’s wedding, her older cousin started crying REALLY hard on rehersal night. It was terrible! It took ages for her to calm down, and by that point, Northwestern and I were crying!

          You will be fine Plumpy! Just check things over and see what you forgot. Then ask your wedding planner. And to get you mind off things do something you like to do, like get together with a friend and go to a spa, or paint your nails, or just watch some TV. It will get you mind if things! ~KK♥

            I agree KK! When I get nervous, like when I go to the doctor, I just think of some kinztunes, like hug a pug. Plumpy, do you have the decorations, the photographer, your friends? Maybe next time make a checklist so you don’t forget anything! Nice solutions everyone! Maybe just take a nice, hot bath to relax you. That’s what I do when I get upset! I also get nervous when I forget to do my gardening on webkinz.. Since today is fathers’ day, maybe grab some pretty flowers. Smell some flowers to calm you down. Also, you can go shopping to get your mind off the wedding, and while you are there, grab something like a cool gift or too. Hope this helps! Ruby the Phoenix~♥

        Chicago Made, I agree and disagree. You shouldn’t think of all the things that can go wrong, or else that makes you even more nervose. The BEST way to be calm is to be in your “happy place” or think of something that makes you happy. Just keep cool, ya know. ~Azula Tiger

      Good Idea about the pictures. Did you think about your honeymoon? Or maybe you just forgot to invite someone. I pray when I’m nervous by the way. It helps.

      I learned at school a breathing technique called Square Breathing. You imagine a square, since there are 4 steps, and there are 4 sides on a square. Here are the steps: Breathe in for 4 seconds, counting slow. Hold it for 4 seconds. Breathe out for 4 seconds. Wait for 4 seconds. Hope this helps :!: It always helps me.       You are probably just nervous. But usually, when I think I’m forgetting something, I am. Just go over everything you need again and you should be fine! Have a GREAT wedding! (*(*dragonfish*)*)
