Plumpy’s Wedding: Cake Design

Hey everyone! Can you believe my wedding is only 16 days away! It’s true! And since my dear friend Chef Sophia is in charge of the cake, it was high time for Charles and I to visit her and see about flavors and designs!

Fortunately for us, Chef Sophia had brought along a ton of samples. We tried a little bit of everything, but out absolute favorite was chocolate cake with Stubbly Grass Nibble ganache and a delicate maple buttercream. It sounds a bit wacky, but the flavors work together perfectly!

After picking the flavor, we had to choose a design. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never really thought about what a cake LOOKS like before. I’m all about the taste!  But Sophia sketched out a bunch of pictures and said I could take them home and think about them.

So I’ve narrowed my options down to these four. I’d love your opinion! Let me know which one you like the best!

I have to say option B is my favorite. It’s classy and elegant, but simple and charming.

I like B and C best. Both are really nice, but it depends on what kind of look you’re going for. C is more cutesy and crafty, but B has more of a fancy and romantic kind of look. I like B better, but C would fit you r personslity better. I vote B for you!! :)

I like b the most. I love the colour and i think the heart on top looks really pretty. I still think the other cakes are pretty though.

I like A, B, and C. A is cute ’cause it has Plumply and Charles’s first letter of their names. B is cute ’cause of the heart because they love each other. And C is cute because I think it looks more like a traditional wedding cake.

I would prefer Option B, because it is elegant and still stylish. I would say that (A) is traditional, (C) is modern, and (D) is very creative, but I think (B) fits Plumy’s amazing personality.
