Hi! It’s Polly Panda here and can I tell you – I had the most awesome idea! You might know that I have two little brothers, Peter and Patrick, and a little sister called Penny. In the summer they just love spending almost all their time outside, swimming, riding bikes, hiking. They are non-stop bundles of energy. Every night when my mom calls them to get ready for bed, I swear the three of them come dragging their feet and whining about having to come in. So I just thought – why come in? Why don’t we have our own little camping trip right outside in our backyard? Wouldn’t that be fun? My mom and dad said it was okay, so Penny, Peter, Patrick and I spent the whole afternoon putting up the tent. Here’s the thing – it’s SUPPOSED to take ten minutes to put up this tent. I guess the tent manufacturers never met my little brothers and sister though because that didn’t exactly go according to plan. But we finally got it up in the end. After dinner my dad set up the Marshmallow Pit from the W Shop and we all sat around it in our pajamas and sleeping bags and told ghost stories, which seemed like a lot of fun at the time but not such a good idea later on. In the middle of the night I woke up to hear Patrick crying because he was scared and he wanted our mom. So I had to get up out of my cozy sleeping bag and walk Patrick into the house where he climbed into bed with my parents. Then I had to go back out to the tent. You know what? Just walking from the house to the tent in my own backyard even I was kind of scared. It’s so dark and quiet in the middle of the night. But I got back to the tent, snuggled in between Peter and Penny and fell right back asleep. We woke up to Patrick clambering back into the tent on top of us all this morning and then my mom brought us big plates of pancakes and maple syrup. That’s one good thing about camping right next to your house – you can eat your mom’s home cooking!
We all had so much fun we can’t wait to do it again!
It sounds like so much fun! How long did it take you to put up the tent with all your little siblings? (that’s a lot of names starting with “P”) ~CC~
It sounds so much fun! My parents won’t let me camp outside because I’m an only child, We have no fence, no tent, and I live in a dangerous neighborhood. I love hearing about other peoples experiences though! You sound like a great sister! Everyone, Enjoy your summer!
I totally love hiking!!!!!!:):):’(:):) But there are some problems staying outside. For instance, like Polly, the tent. Bugs. Bug repellent does NOT work on me at all, so I end up bit up.:(:’(:( so that’s why I sometimes stay indoors a lot. But,I’m totally crazy about food and smores so I like the outdoors a lot!!!!!!!!!!! Because I practice my natural talent out there:Sports.I gotta go my kindle is about to die so later peeps!
My Panda is named Penny also I had one when I was little and it just felt right to remember her in Webkins World she ment a lot to me :) :) :)
Great idea. Everyone should camp out at their house as a kid. It’s adventure without leaving home ;)
Aw, that was a sweet thing to do for your siblings. Too bad they got scared, though. Ah, well, maybe next time you can tell calmer stories? ~~O~~SapphireSea~*~*~
Fun!!! Does anyone know when they’re going to post the winners for the rockerz cow and lion contest? I entered and I really want to win!
hi Cady. i entered too, and i really hope i win the lion! good luck! -random
Hi Polly, it was so nice of you to walk your little brother into mom and dad. A lot of big sisters would of laughed at him for being scared and made him run in by himself. Speaking of camping, Kimmy’s up and running again, slowly, but running. i also found the July birthstone lamp banner on page 4 of Pets in Kinzapedia. jennifer
Pretty cool, Polly. I’m always outside doing my thing, with my friends. Don’t think I’ma boy when I say this, because I’m not, but I like to skateboard. I’m always playing some sport with my friends (It’s usually volleyball), and we sometimes like to skateboard (I’m that kind of girl who’s mostly friends with boys, but I have some friends as girls too). I’m just an outdoors person, and I love to listen and do music. But about the camping thing in the backyard, not a bad idea. I’ve done that before with my sister, and we had fun. And eating my mom’s food, let me admit – It’s the BOMB! So, today’s Independence Day, and that’s the day where my parents cook hot dogs on the grill. I love BBQ hot dogs, and smores – That’s the total bomb. ~Chicago Made☠
@Chicago Made – Wait, you skateboard? I don’t usually know or see most girls who skateboard, but it’s cool that you do it. :) My mom’s food is the bomb too. Sounds fun, Polly! -Bangarang►►►
I can tell…you’re an outdoors person, @Chicago Made. I usually don’t ever go outside, because it’s so HOT where I live. Gosh, I wish it wasn’t so hot, but it has been raining and storming where I live very badly and there was almost a tornado that came and ripped through the town I live in. Hey, Polly, that sounds a bit fun to have a camping thing going on in your backyard. Hmm, I should try that, and see how it goes. I might do it tomorrow, and just see how my little brother enjoys it. -Sadieツ
@SkrillexCBF56- where I live is really hot too- tommorow is 100 degrees! Tornadoes are scary, but I’m glad there wasn’t one. There is a really nice place in our backyard where we could camp… but there’s this minature forest (woods) that is really nice right by the border of our house. I remember when I was little, I built this stick tipi. The base was a big tree, but it’s filled with spiders. (I HATE spiders!) @Chicago Made- I have a skateboard- but I don’t use it often. ;-) Also- mostly your friends are boys? Same here. I’m a girl, and at my school, all the girls are way to girly for me. Likewise, I have some friends that are girls. ~§ugªrC☼met✽
I used to have a skateboard, but it broke. I’m a girl too, and @Chicago Made – you’re mostly friends with boys? Same here. Next year, I’m going to be homeschooled, but I was friends with more boys than girls, and I only had, like, 4 friends as girls. The rest were boys. I’m more of that punk girl than funky. @SkrillexCBF56 – I hope the weather starts to cool down for you. I isn’t that hot where I live. And about camping in backyards, not my thing. I don’t really like camping. Not that I’m an outdoors person, I just don’t like camping. @SugarComet – Aw, it’s cool that you built a stick tipi. I hate to hear that it’s full of spiders though. I hate spiders too. ~°º¤ø,PaRaNoRmAl ScEnE¸¸,ø¤º°`°º¤
@Chicago Made – That’s kind of cool. I’ve actually always wanted to skateboard, and yes, I’m a girl too. My parents just won’t let me skateboard, because they say that “It’s too dangerous” and “You have to HAVE skill” Jeez, I just hate it when they say “no” to something that I really want to do, but I’ll just go with the flow, I guess. -SparkyStar▩▩▩
That’s cool @CM! I wish I could have a skateboard, but I can’t because my mom thinks there to “dangerous”. I really want one bad! Your Friend nihao9! :D ;) :)
Sounds like it was fun! I don’t like pancakes, but cool adventure! ♥*Hug♥*
Polly you are such a great big sis! I bet your parents are super proud of you! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
Mmm, I wanted to do that, but then I remembered my fear of bugs (would you call that bug-phobia?). But that sounds like a LOT of fun! Especially the pancakes part, I just LOVE pancakes. ~Phoenix Wind~
Bugs? But they’re so CUTE! I’m a type of girl who LOVES bugs (summer is the best with catching fireflies)! Don’t worry my mom only likes ladybugs and butterflies, but I ♥ ALL BUGS! Happy 4th of July! ♥*Hug♥*
You are a great big sister Polly. Happy 4th of July! I watched a lot of fireworks, and I seen alot of firetrucks and police cars.
