Pool party – fruit skewers

What you need:

-          Pineapple, cut into chunks

-          Strawberries, washed and hulled

-          Bananas, cut into thick slices

-          Melon, cut into chunks

-          Grapes, washed

-          Small wooden skewers

What you do:

1.       Carefully thread one piece of each fruit onto skewer.

2.       Repeat with remaining skewers. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

3.       On a hot summer day, this medley of fresh fruits is almost as refreshing as a dip in the pool.

    YAY! Fruit kabobs! I like fruit kabobs. Real quick though, why didn’t they just call these Fruit Kabobs?? They just called them fruit skewers. The same with the hot dog wraps. Why not Piggies in a Blanket??? Just wondering…

    I would only eat the strawberries. You know fruit and flowers both contain seeds. Theres a fun fact for ya!

          No I’m not moon star. Moons are completely different from flowers. They are total opposites! I’m not flowerstar I’m flower power. Power beats stars. I love fruit and flowers so I will make these skewer in a fruit and flower variety.

            Did you know that strawberries are the only fruit with seeds on the outside? Some people refer to them as vegetables! Serene :mrgreen:

      Hey guys! I am new here, to WKN. I was born in December so, that’s how I got my name. I am on vacation like most right now so, I will be coming on very little untill July 6th or 7th.
