My mother always says I’m the smartest girl she’s ever met, and I think that genius was evident in my brilliant plan to avoid detention today. What was did I do? Simple! Yesterday, I told Ms. Cowoline I had a dentist appointment. And did she believe it? Of course! And did I have an appointment? Not at all! But instead of dealing with the horrible half hour with Salley Cat, I got to go home, have some snacks, watch some TV and chill out. All it cost me was fifteen minutes of cafeteria cleaning at lunchtime. Which, by the way, I pretty much didn’t have to do anyway. Malena just cast a spell that cleaned up the cafeteria. Just one of the benefits of having a fairy for a BFF!
Anyway, I’ve got to think up something to get out of dealing with detention tomorrow night. Maybe a doctor’s appointment? Or some kind of last-minute illness? Anything to avoid hanging out with Salley.
I HOPE THAT SHE GETS IN TROUBLE SHE DESERVES IT!!!
