Hey Friends,
I was hoping maybe you could give me some advice…I’m having some trouble. The trouble is this: I know there’s a play coming up and I really want a part, so I’ve been practicing my singing, dancing and acting. I’ve also been at the Adventure Park a TON and I’ve been playing this new video game I got…and I also have ‘Kinz Crew meetings and piano lessons. So my schedule is full, to say the least.
Oh! And I had to go to see my grandma and then we visited my cousins and went out to dinner.
And that’s why I didn’t do my homework this weekend. Or study for my tests last week.
Me, Roberta Rabbit. Not studying. Not doing homework. I’ve never gotten below a C before…and I just got two F’s and a D. I just didn’t have time to prepare. Plus, there was, like, five pages of homework to do and two quizzes. WAAAY too much for one (very busy) rabbit.
So Ms. Cowoline AND my teacher, Miss Daisy, are pretty upset. And not only that, my teacher said she might call my mom. EEP! My mom will be SO mad. I don’t even want to consider what my dad will say. Ugh. And there’s more tonight, (like a project I’m working on with Cowabelle) but I have so much going on. Maybe I can get it done tomorrow on the way to school – or I’ll get up super-early. That’s a solution.
What am I doing wrong ‘Kinz friends? I’ve never failed anything before.
I can totally relate with Roberta. I have girl scouts, piano, flute, tons of homework(including algebra), swimming, and grocery shopping. So busy.
Poor Roberta………
I would also recomend studying at your grandma’s house. Although im a b/c student, I can relate to worrying about keeping your grades up to prevent your parents getting upset at you. Hang in there!- Kevin

There are many helpful ideas from many nice people. There are worse things than having your teacher tell your parents…they might even help you work things out but many schools will not let you have extracurricular activities unless your grades are up. If you don’t work harder on your school work, your might not have the opportunity to do these things that you love! Good luck!!!

Well i say just talk to your teachers?
Work somethign out.
Tell them ALL the things you had to do this weekend.
If they are good teachers they will understand .
And just tlel you to study tonight then make you do the test tomorrow ?
Or something like that !(: I’m sure everythign will be okay . <3
i love webkinz………….
roberta, i would suggest doing homework BEFORE video games and adventure park. yes, they ARE fun, but they might just need to wait. i sometimes have the same problem, but only, like, one day once in a while, but i end up staying up really late finishing my homework or i wake up early and do it in the morning. anyway here’s a solution: when u get home from school, take, maybe a 15-20 minute break of school stuff. then, starting with the longest/hardest, do your homework. (also if u only have time for a little bit of homework, and u have multiple teachers, do the homwork that your scariest, meanest teacher gave you. in my case, my history homework.) take a few five minute breaks, if you want to watch a movie, make it one you’ve seen like, a billion times. eat before you do your homework too. i do this all the time in EIGHTH GRADE and i get straight A’s.
Although I have no extra-curricular activities after school, I still am bombarded by loads of homework. Really, what helps me most is writing it out on a check list, giving yourself particular pieces of homework to do every day and giving yourself a scheduled time to do it. Of course, I’m a bit of an organization freak when it comes to school but everything is so much easier to handle when It’s organized.
Get organized-
MAKE A SCHEDULE!

Poor Roberta. I’m not THAT busy, and I never miss assignments, because then I’ll have to sit at the Homework Table! It’s this table where if you don’t do homework, you don’t go out for recess and you do your homework instead. I’ve also NEVER gotten below an A. Not to show off or anything.
I never had that problem when I was in fifth or whatever grade-you should be experiencing this in college and possibly high school. Not in fifth/sixth grade! Honestly.

Though I’ve never had this problem either, 5th and (so far) 7th grade has given out quite allot of homework. Don’t underestimate the power of Middle school teachers!
