When Elwin and I first saw Roberta’s new living room, we were…well, surprised. It was so pink – and so mismatched!
Don’t believe me? Check it out:
Who puts inflatable couches and an air hockey table in their living room? Their pink living room, no less?
We knew right away that we’d have to work hard to make it Designer Elephant perfect. Roberta’s mom actually really liked the pink walls, but her dad wasn’t a big fan. Because Elwin and I believe in compromise, we decided to stick with the pink – but make it much easier to live with. By toning down the color, adding a new floor, and picking up some brand new furniture, we were able to create this:
We knew it was a success when even Robert Rabbit said, “Now THAT’S a living room I can live with!”
What do you think of it, friends?
I think it looks awesome! Way to go Hailey and Elwin!
If Robert Rabbit disliked pink in the first place, why in Webkinz World would Hailey and Elwin create a new living room that’s even more pink than before!?
P.S. I would LOVE to see Roberta’s room next! Please!!! All the best! MDIChickadee
I am not a big fan of pink in rooms, but I like this room – very calming, very soothing, yet a good space in which to live. The television is amazing! All the best! MDIChickadee
This is much better than the way the room was, but I also think it is still too pink. I like the new walls, the gray/steel color TV & clock, and the wood floors. These are great choices! The pink flowers are plenty of “other” pink. I would have liked to see white carpets, and different colored chairs (not the pink or the wicker) with the white couch. Also, the princess bookshelf and other dressy accents are just not “family room” types of decor, in my opinion.
I’m glad Mr. Rabbit likes it, after all, he’s the one who has to live with it. To me, though, all that pink would look better in a bedroom. jennifer
I agree that it’s too much pink. I know my dad wouldn’t go for that at all. I can see pink accents maybe, but no so much. Too girly.
I totally agree that it is too much pink. It looks really nice, but it is still too pink for me. It’s a good thing they like it,though. (*(*(*dragonfish*)*)
I think it’s much better, but it still has a lot of pink in it. I think it’s the same amount, just less overpowering. Also, I love the wallpaper, but I’m not a fan of the bookshelves-I like them but just not in that room- nor the pink rug, chairs, or ballerina/swan lamp. I think it would be nice for Persephone or PJ maybe, but not a family. I would’ve liked to see more windows too!
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will u design it 4 me??????? Pretty please???????? I didn’t really like the bright pink walls either. The light brown & pink creates a soothing feeling. Especially w/ the swirls. The pink is just 2 energetic. Living rooms r supposed 2 b calm & relaxed. *Your friend, Orange Starburst*
i really dont lik this “new” room way too pink~-~one direction luver
I like the re-designed living room a lot! I think the other one looks like a bunch of furniture thrown together. ~PepperPots
it is so chic i LUV IT!!!!! totally cute!!! *stylegirl12*
I TOTALLY agree with you PepperPots! the new room is still not my favorite room ever, but i still think it looks way more organized than the other one.
It looked like a kids play room before! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
I know! How would the dad feel about all the pink? And if roberta has a brother what would he think? I would go with a natural and calming look. ;) ~KK♥
The 1st room was a disaster. Pink walls AND pink flooring! Inflatable sofas? If you like One Direction friend me on Webkinz. I’m CatLizKT
It is easier to live with when it’s not bright pink, but I think Hailey and Elwin should balance it out by having another room with a pale blue color theme
