Dear Diary,
I told my friends about the fact that I’m going to be a big sister pretty soon (in a few months!). I also told them about having to move – even though we’re not leaving Kinzville, it’s another big change and I wanted to share it with them.
And know what? Each of my friends had a different opinion on what was happening. Unsurprising, since all of my friends are very…well…different!
Stoogles: said that siblings are overrated. Of course, that could be because he has about a dozen of them. He said that sharing a bathroom is no fun, and sharing toys is even worse. I reminded him that I’m going to be a lot older than my brother or sister, so the toy thing isn’t an issue. And since we’re moving, we’ll probably have more than one bathroom in the house.
Salley: said that she was happy for me, and even a little jealous. She’s always wanted a sibling.
Cowabelle: said that babies are a lot of trouble and make a TON of noise. She said I could escape to her house whenever I wanted, and told me to encourage my parents to find a house near hers.
Sparky: said that he hopes it’s a boy because he couldn’t imagine having a sister. I reminded him that it’s going to be MY sibling, not his.
Alex: said that he was really excited – he’s always wanted to conduct behavioral experiments on a baby. I told him that my parents might not be SO enthusiastic about that idea.
Nibbles: said that she wishes she could be my sister and live at my house. I think she’s just feeling insecure about Plumpy getting married.
Molly: wished me the best of luck, but reminded me about how much trouble little kids can be. We all remember when Millie was a baby…a loud, screaming baby. And, as Molly said, she’s only slightly improved with age! She said that maybe I’ll be lucky and get a nice baby like her little cousin Holly who stayed with them at Christmastime. I hope so. I’m not sure I could handle a kid like Millie full time.
They all said they’d help me move, and even said that I should ask my parents if I can talk to Hailey and Elwin about decorating my new room. THAT sounds pretty exciting.
But not quite as exciting as having a little brother or sister.
Love,
Roberta
Good luck!!! This will be fun and tough, don’t worry though it will be great! I have a little brother and although he gets on my nerves he’s still my brother! ;) Like Gabriella said, there’s never a dull moment. Peace from Warrior Goldenflower! :D :D :D
Congrats Roberta! I say being a big sister is the best! I know, because I have 2 little brothers and 2 little sisters! Chris, Tommy, Tiara, and Cutie Patootie (Patty, my 1 yr old baby sis) are a HUGE handful. But it’s always fun and there’s never a dull moment! ♥
Congrats Soon To-Be Big-Bunny Sis! (YOUR new name! hope you like it!) But I think I’ll shorten it to Big-Bunny. And soon, it’ll be Big-Bunny Sis! Isn’t that exciting? ~CC~
congrats roberta i hav a big sis and we FIGHT ALL the time but if we arent shes pretty kool (shes 19)! but i wish i had a little bro or sis! peace out kool cats ;-)
I’m sure everything will go fine Roberta! Are you moving? I guess your house that you are in now must be to small. I hope you find a good house then. [if that's what I read in the story] >> cat lover cathouse2
Orange Starburst: (Sorry I’m just pretending that I’m talking 2 u) I think Hailey & Elwin would be more than happy 2 decorate your room. My opinion is that u should have a springy feeling in your room with a mix of creativity. Okay, maybe I’m talking about MY dream room. *Your friend Orange Starburst,*
I knew she’d have to move! I’m sort of sorry for you. ;)
Hey, i was right! You guys are having a baby! That’s awesome Roberta!! :D
OH!! yeah it’s a new sibiling! Hang in there Roberta, even though your friends have different opinions.
Thanks for sharing this info with us! Your friends are so great! And a new home? How exciting!! Glad you are still excited about the baby. All the best! MDIChickadee
Oh boy….. Roberta, don’t let those negative friends of your’s try to discourage you on your new sibling. Don’t listen to the negative ones. Siblings can be annoying at times, but don’t be so discouraged Becasue you’re thinking of annoying siblings. Not all siblings are like that. Don’t be discouraged because I sensed that at the end of your post. P.S. DOn’t listen to Cowabelle. She dosen’t EVEN HAVE A SIBLING, so how would she know about all babies?
Roberta, DO NOT listen to Cowabelle. I know Lydia, she does not even have a sibling. I don’t think she is a good friend.
yeah don’t!!!!!!!!! My piano teacher has a baby girl, and she is sooooo cute. even though she can be a pain sometimes
They aren’t bad until they learn to walk and talk, and after my brother cut my hair, I got jealous of Kodiak’s and cut hers, which just goes to show how the later sibling rivalries go
lol Time Bandit!!!!! btw, nice name!!!!
Roberta, if you are stil worried about being a big sister you could go to the Adoption Center and volunteer. I’m sure Miss Birdie would love the help. and you could practice being a big sister and just get used to being around baby’s. Listen to Lydia.
I wish you luck, Roberta! I’m a twin and have two older sisters so I don’t know what to tell you Roberta! I hope it won’t be a disaster!!!
You know whats wierd! I have a cousin named Holly too! Shes almost 8 and might join wkn soon! Good luck Roberta! You might need it. ;) ~KK ♥
That’s really nice of them to help you. I also think that its AMAZING that Elwin and Hailey might decorate your new room! I can’t wait to hear about the baby! (*(*dragonfish*)*)
i’m with molly! holly was a nice baby! but not millie! sorry millie!!! *the ultimate cookie lover, cookie crumbs*
Hum, well they all do have different opinions! I’m sure they thing will work out great roberta! Just sit back and enjoy the ride! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)
wow i hope i had a bro all i have is a twin sis–hockey jock
hope u have a little sis
I kind of hope she gets a little brother. I have a little brother, we get along most of time and it’s nice to be a little different, and who knows, she may enjoy some not-so-girly things that could open new doors for her, like me. :)
