Roberta’s Valentine Craft: Candy Calculator

Another wonderful craft to add to the bag of Valentine’s treats for my class!

What you need:

Cardstock, scissors, candy dots, double-sided tape, marker, printer paper , glue stick

What you do:

  1. Measure the cardstock, and mark it so you can cut it into four equal rectangles.
  2. Cut along the lines you marked. You now have four ‘calculators’.
  3. Cut out small white rectangles from the printer paper.
  4. At the top of each calculator, glue a small white rectangle for a screen. Write a Valentine’s message  like “You’re #1” or “U R GR-8!” or “U R 2 Cool!”
  5. Cut your candy buttons into squares of twelve (3 candies in 4 rows).
  6. On the bottom of the calculator, use double-sided tape to secure the paper the candies are on.
  7. Decorate the calculator with fun stickers.

Is anyone else having trouble picking up the trash in Kinzville Park? The problem started for my cousins and me a couple days ago.

The idea is creative but the name is too classic. If you know what I mean…

I’ll make it as a valintine card for my math teacher. Hey, If your in 6th grade you can STILL give your teachers valentines cards to show appreciation, right? Sorry if I haven’t been posting but I have been as busy as a bee! If you know what I mean…. :s I dislike the new layout of the clubhouse! I can’t see any of my friends, so I won’t be trading as much unless they fix the layout! >:(

I think that this is really creative! It’s too bad that my family doesn’t eat candy buttons.
I’m not making any Valentines this year, anyway. I just moved to North Carolina, and I really don’t know any of my classmates yet…

One my classmates is my sister’s teacher’s daughter. :3 Webkinzfairy, it’s alright. I bet if you give out valentines then you might meet some friendly people at lunch. August last year I moved from Colorado to Alaska. I have a friend who I sat down with at lunch one day because he was eating alone. I got to know him very well. :) So don’t be scared to sit with people at lunch who are eating a) alone b) with few people. ;) I know you can make one or two friends webkinzfairy. I bet offline your a really nice person.
