So guess what? This week, we were assigned our end-of-the-year projects in history class. What’s mine? I’ve got to investigate the history of the fairies – how exciting, right? (I’m just glad I didn’t get the history of Goober’s beanie. Somehow, I don’t think that report will be ground-breaking in any way).
Another exciting thing in the life of me is the awesome end-of-year party PJ and I are planning! It’s going to be faaaantastic. We’re going to invite all of our friends and have an amazing time.

School never ends for you? I was almost homeschooled, but I need time away from my family sometimes and like school away from home. Plus I love science and learning about other things and not just my mom’s opinion.

I like school too! I get to see my friends! I got out last Wednesday, we only were in school for an hour. And my team (my middle school’s grades are set up in teams) had a water balloon toss! BTW, I start school in August, usually a day in the 20s.
Same here! I’m really going to miss my grade this summer because this was one of my best years ever! I wish this school year will never end.
I can’t wait to get out of school!

i can’t wait either! I’d get to play with my friends ALL day long, my friends from where i lived two years ago are coming! And best of all, get to play Webkinz anytime (almost)!!!! The only bad part is i don’t get done till the 18th of June! :-(

I’m going to a party too! It’s a party by a lake. Then, after that, everyone is going to go square dancing!!!! Square dancing is really fun. :)

Have four more days and about 5 more finals next week i cant bring a backpack have to carry around a binder! (not even a tote bag)
Really? That’s exactly the same for me! I stuffed all my stuff into my binder because I can’t have backpacks and I get out right after finals. :)

Since MOST ww players are in NA, but there are so many variations in summer holidays with different regions, districts, public, private,…
Please consider being generous so most youngsters can have them for most
of their summer holidays,
and run from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Yes, those who start mid-May will go back early Aug,
and those who start late June can have off through mid Sept,
and each will be in school for some of this time,
but it allows more to have the experience for more of their vacation time.
Seems like a good business practice to me.
Um, not really that lucky. Schools that get out in May usually start school in August. Sure those kids get three full months of vacation instead of about two and a half, but they have to go back in the brutal heat of late summer. That’s why most schools in the U.S. end/start in, what I like to call, “mild months”.

Mine only got out early ’cause we started early. Each school year has 182 days planned but only 180 are necessary. The extra two count for two days your school can take off for snow days. If you have more than two snow days, you might have to add days to the end of the school year. Our school didn’t go over on snow days this year.
But in the southern states we don’t have SNOW. We have hurricanes. Which is way worst then SNOW. Hurricanes are deadly.

As merkeeper said, blizzards are deadly too. Sub-zero tempratures + not able to see because all this snow blowing at your car = my friend getting stuck in a car on the outer drive (in Chicago, its right by the lake) for almost 18 hours.
my school gets out monday my friends got out a week ago though because they go to a different school. I have absolutely NOTHING planned for the summer except trying to talk my mom into letting me have a party
We would get out June 8, but 8th graders go on a cool trip on the 7th and we dont have school the 8th.
our graduation and party are on the 6th.

i get out the 24 of this month. stinks a lot. bur starting the 15 we have half a days because of finals and some half days are just for our team[ in my middle school we have teams which r our teachers] so we can have parties and stuff.
School in Australia do not have long Spring break as in the USA we have 2 weeks after every 10 weeks of school. Then 6 weeks at Christmas (summer at this time of year) we also get Easter breaks of 4 days Good Friday, weekend, and Easter Monday, Next week coming we have a public holiday as its the Queens Birthday Yeah, we get a lot of long weekends due to Public holidays:)
I like your system better since most American kids forget over the summer and the first month of school in the fall is review. Me included!!!!

I have been out of school for 3 weeks. HHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA. LOL just joking we all go to school for then same amount of days. SO don’t be jealous you poeple who are still in school, cause we have to go to school before you start school.
