Hi, it’s me, Roberta, and I am so excited! My mom is expecting my little sister or brother (I think it is a sister!) and I’m helping her friends throw her a baby shower! I’m going to serve a baby spinach salad with baby tomatoes, and dip with baby carrots and baby corn. We are going to have a cake shaped like a giant baby bottle and we’ll be playing some fun games and holding a baby pool where everyone gets to guess the baby’s birthday and whether it will be a boy or a girl. The one who is closest wins a prize!

For the invitation I am making paw print bunnies! You dip your paw (or your thumb) in colored ink, press it down on a piece paper and when it is dry, you draw ears and a face on it! I put an orange bunny on a green background and then added and orange border (because orange and green are the color of carrots!) I thought that tearing the edges of my paper looked more interesting than just cutting it with scissors. When I pasted them both on the front of a white card, it gave a nice, raised effect. What do you think?

Aw the bunny looks so cute! LOL that’s funny how all the food is baby food! Baby carrots, baby tomatoes… ^^ ♥

I like it! And Roberta’s handwriting’s really neat too! My cursive’s a bit messy. ~CC~

I noticed you Northwestern, Southwestern! And maybe it could be twins…. or even worse! Triplets! You will make it through Roberta. Oh boy! 3 tiny white fluff balls running around!:)

Sounds Great Roberta! I personally think it will be a boy because Molly already has a little sister. Just a guess. ~~Rainbow*Rain~~

Cute idea Roberta! You are right, ripping the paper looks MUCH better than just cutting it! My advice is you should actually buy some stickers(or you can just cut out decorations and tape them) related to baby showers and stick them on the white part of the card. Otherwise it looks too plain. BTW, I like the heading of the article- it’s so creative! (Shower Forecast) ~~Rainbow Waterfall*//*

Very special invitation. You did a good job. You will enjoy the new baby if it’s a boy or girl. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother and I love them all.

I hope it’ll be a girl, because I’m sure if it’s a boy, it’ll be hard for brother and sister to get along, I’m sure of. I have a sister, and a older brother, and yeah, me and my brother never got along very well. So, I hope it’s a girl, because sister and sister get along. ;) And the invitation sounds so cute, Roberta! ~Chicago Made☠

I agree with @Chicago Made. It’s really rare/uncommon for brothers and sisters to get along. I, personally, have an older brother, but surpisingly, we get along quite well. We used to think each other was annoying! He is 10 years older than me. Quite a big age difference for my family. But- Chicago Made the only bad thing about getting another sister is sometimes girls can cause a bit of trouble together combined. Or one can be sensible and another not. Sometimes it works out perfectly. I hope that is what happens to their family. ~SugarComet***

I agree w/ SugarComet & Chicago Made. My brother is 10 years older than me. (Like SugarComet :D) I’m 10 & hes 20. Hes in college so I barely get 2 see him. It seems 2 me that the older u get, the better u get along. At least, w/ my family. #Lemon^Starburst#

I agree guys, but really, your parents can’t help what gender the baby is. Me and my older sister are 9 years apart, and I don’t really get along with her. Most of the time its age difference. But, I think Roberta will be happy either way ( and so will the parents!) as long as the baby is born happy and healthy :)

My little brother, Styx fan drives us all crazy, but he’s still funny!

          • Chicago Made says:

Wow, @Lemon Starburst, and @SugarComet! I have a brother who’s 3 years older than me (He’s 17), and I’m 14. ;) We don’t get along at all. We always fight, and be rude to each other. I wish we would get along, but we mostly don’t. At least my brother is sometimes funny. ~Chicago Made☠

Wow, congrats Roberta! Also I have a brother who is 6 years old, and I’m 12 years old. My bother and I , well, even though he’s 6, he’s still evil. I agree with you @Chicago Made! I try to get along with him, but probably never will! Your Friend nihao9! P.S. My real name is Jada, just so u guys know!! :D :D :D

        • Swanfeather says:

I hope its a boy, mostly cause I love the name they picked for a boy. But also because I get along great with my brother who is 16, 2 years older than me, and I don’t get along with my sister who is 4 years younger.

        • mm512 says:

I have a brother who is two years younger than me and a brother that is 10 years younger than me. I get along better with the one that is ten years younger than me, but that is because he is only one. I hope Roberta gets a sister.

        • lalalalala says:

Terrible Idea Roberta! i don’t like it.

      • Elf says:

Quite frankly, I don’t think it matters much arguement-wise if the baby is a boy or a girl. I have a sister, and we fight quite a bit. One of my friends has a sister and a brother, and she gets along better with her brother than with her sister.

      • Lilipad says:

I agree with Chicago Made. I have an older brother, (12) and he’s 4 years older than me. And we fight like cats and dogs. But we still love each other. Like Chicago Made said I think she’ll do better with a sister. And I think you’re doing great on the invitations. But shouldn’t your mother be doing them?

    • Morton Hippo says:

Great idea! I always make home cards too and I love finger print pictures! In a art camp a few years ago there was a book filled with people and animals that you can make with a pad of ink, a pen, and of coarse your finger!

      • mcyrus2010 says:

My sister and me get along but my brother dosent get along with us. he has hit me 1000 times but I never tell on him because I love him and I hate seeing him get into trouble.LOL I like how you made your card so cute I think my mom never had a baby shower.

    • PhoenixWind says:

Creative! I agree, it does give a raised effect. It’s so cute, cuz the bunny looks like a baby carrot! ~Phoenix Wind~
