The silkie chicken was born without any feathers. Just like the ugly duckling, the silkie chicken was made fun of by his siblings. One day, the silkie chicken wandered off on his own because he felt so sad that nobody accepted him as a chicken, since we didn’t have any feathers. As he was walking on his own, he fell and slipped into a puddle of sap that a maple tree had dripped. The sap covered the silkie chicken’s eyes, and the he was very scared. He started running, but he didn’t know where he was going. Now, this is the season where normal birds, like geese, start to shed their down feathers. These feathers were all over the ground that the silkie chicken was running on. As he was running, the sap was starting to dry, and the sap dripped down away from his eyes. He ran back to his family, and he was absolutely stunning. He was the most beautiful chicken out of the whole coop, and now all of his brothers and sisters were upset at themselves because they made fun of their brother. He was given the things that he missed out on when he was featherless, and that made the silkie chicken very happy.

Hi Ripstickchick, Cute username btw. If you seriously don’t want the silkie chicken, then maybe you shouldn’t enter that contest, and give someone else, a better chance of winning, that might really want it. Don’t know why you wouldn’t want it though, I have one and I think he is really cute. You would probably like it once you had it.
