Hi there! I’m the Reindeer, December’s Pet of the Month. When I was approached about storyboarding my Pet of the Month video, I knew I wanted to make a song all about my favorite season. I’ll bet you can probably guess which season that is.
At first I wasn’t sure what to do my video on. But then I went and asked my mom what she thought. I get so wrapped up in winter that she actually suggested that I should make a video about how when I comes to winter I can’t think of anything else, even school. At first I asked her what she was talking about, and then she pointed out that every time I get a pencil and eraser, I have to turn them into a hockey stick and puck.
I realized that she was right so I went and asked Ms. Cowoline if we could actually film my video in the school. I thought it would be pretty funny to have me dreaming about winter instead of getting my work done. Ms. Cowoline thought that it would be a really fun experience for the whole school so we set it up and had a camera crew come in. We shot some staged footage of me daydreaming in class, and then a camera crew followed me around for the rest of the day to capture some shots of me doing some of my favorite winter activities so that they could edit those in for what was happening in my imagination. My best friend, the Beaver, has been working on this awesome snow fort so I knew that would be a perfect locale. After we filmed our snowball fight, as well as a hockey game with some of my buddies and an awesome toboggan run, we were headed back to the studio when I saw one of my neighbors trying to shovel his sidewalk. Without even stopping to think about it, I offered to take over (I have a pretty unique method of shoveling snow, you see.) Little did I know, the camera crew caught the whole thing on tape and said it would make a perfect scene in our video.
When they put together all the footage I think it turned out pretty well – I loved the scene they created with me in the snow globe, don’t you? They sure have some amazing special effects wizards working at Music Starz.

I love it how they are telling us the making of the POTM videos!! They are so cool! Who agrees?! I like the Reindeer as well. I like winter too. I only have one Webkinz pet. A lil kinz White Terrior. Got her last year for Christmas!! I want a hamster. Because they don’t come with rooms. I don’t want another room added to my house.

Winter is one of my favorite seasons! (Summer and winter are tied) I love to play in the snow and get ready for Christmas. The only thing that I don’t like is how it’s cold season now. :(
